Course Curriculum Overview

I think my course is upto the mark and what i wanted to study it covers everything a commerce background student should study and also sec vac helps in learning something diffwrent too. So i think its really nice as it helps in overall development.

Class Size: 94Course Fees: INR 18741 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Im paying 18,741 rupees as first year student in Deshbandhu college in unreserved category. For reserved category there are alot of rebate and good options like for people with disabilities the tuition fee is free and for north east students too there are scholarships.

Campus Life

I think our commerce society and entrepreneurship cell are very nice. They are very active and helps in overall grooming of a person. Last year my seniors were saying they had shark tank founders and people like CA parag gupta at speaker sessions. So im really excited for this year as well. Rest our annual fest Sabrang is also famous Allover Du so it is also well known

Admission

NIRF ranking is very good of our college so this was my first pick and as soon i was alloted i accepted the seat and took it. I didnt wait for other rounds as the other colleges were not looking nice to me than this one in terms of infrastructure and overall teaching.

Faculty

The faculty is very nice and kind. They solve all our doubts and we can contact them too rest they teach using practical life examples so learning becomes very easy i love our teacher incharge sonam tomar maam shes very nice teacher

Night Life

There are alot of things to do and explore around our college like burger singh or kolkathi rolls and agarwal sweets. So life is very happening as im a foodie so i lobe trying out new stuff from different places hence this is great and inside we have our canteen which serves food like freshly made home made one and cafeteria which has sandwiches and burgers coffee ice tea so i love the overall vibe

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Life in college so far

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good. The admission process revolves around first clearing the cuet(ug) exam and then applying to the delhi university, then there will be 2-3 rounds of Delhi university and you'll be alloted a college as per your preferences and score and cut offs...Read More
