Course Curriculum Overview

4

As I am having bcom hons and my curriculum is good specially our 3 main subjects like financial accounting, management principles and applications is good and also business laws is good but other subjects like sec,vac and aec and specially aec(EVs) is just trash it doesn't help it is just class 3-4 EVS. So in last I say it is overall good but not that much great so choose subjects wisely.

Internships Opportunities

5

Many companies offers intership like Deloitte, tata , reliance, pe and many more. The teacher also search for new internship opportunities and help the students to grow ???? Every month we get to know that internship are going on and if someone want internship opportunities they can reach deshbandhu college website to join in internship.

Placement Experience

4

As majorly there is placement cell is there but it not provide so much employment opportunities and other societies also help in placement the desbandhu college offers placement to various companies like Google, microsoft, Deloitte etc and some small consultancy firms.

Fees and Financial Aid

Deshbandhu College is one of the reputed colleges in South Delhi under the University of Delhi. The campus is spacious with a green environment that makes it lively and peaceful for students. The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, always encouraging students to participate in academics as well as extracurricular activities. The library is well-stocked with a variety of books and journals, providing a good environment for study. The college has active societies and cultural events that give students opportunities to showcase their talents beyond academics. The placement cell is growing, and many students get internships and job opportunities through it. The canteen offers affordable food with a decent variety, and the location of the college in Kalkaji makes it easily accessible. Overall, Deshbandhu College offers a balanced environment of academics, activities, and personal growth. A good choice for students seeking holistic development during their college years. This college is with best faculty members, best laboratories equipment, Diversified studies of Humanities and Commerce. With one of the best libraries of DU. Apart from academics, it also consists of sports facilities like, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Weight lifting, football and many more.. With Extra curricular societies like Theatre, Street Play, Debate, Art, Filmmaking and etc.

Campus Life

5

The infrastructure facilities are being upgraded in recent times compared to 2020s. College canteen, outdoors and being around CR park is advantageous to students of this college. The annual fest is hit and helpful to many for showing their skills and talent to many activities related to academic and extracurricular activities. Go and feel the young and youth vibes of the crowd outside campus urself.

Admission

I choosed this college because it is one of the best colleges of Delhi University South campus with a good crowd and subtle infrastructure. It has good academics and ranked 13 in all over india nirf ranking. As I have given cuet paper so I can get college based on cutoff so I have choosed srcc , hindu but they are out of my range so I choosed deshbandhu college, eligibility 12th pass , cuet qualified, and all important other documents like adhaar , obc , general etc just required.

Faculty

5

The professors are knowledgeable and supportive, and the campus is vibrant with extracurricular activities. I don't know much about other courses faculty but my course faculty are very supportive. They give good marks in internal and in exam also.

Interview Experience

5

Yes I have faced the examination and the question asked is very easy and interview is very easy and just go give without studying. You doesn't need that much to study, they give free marks , go give , prepare don't need.

Night Life

5

As sometimes we don't have class so to enjoy we go to cafeteria the area near cafeteria is very beautiful and nice , the canteen is not that much great but good for timepass , as I don't know about hostels but pg is available nearby the college very much , the hangout places are like cafeteria, canteen, lovepoint, ground, badminton areas and etc.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
