Course Curriculum Overview

3

I would suggest to bring subject like law and tax from the first year itself because these are the important subject but for me this subjects were come in the syllabus of the last year . First two years were not which makes you prepare for real wolrd

Internships Opportunities

2

There was no such extra ordinary companies came to offer all the companies that came was low quality and low stipend. The project and task was related to all about advertisement . Most of the companies that came was not related to the course

Placement Experience

3

People for 3rd year are eligible for placement. Good number of companies were came to offerd placement. I don't know about the highest and the lowest package as I didn't apply for placement as I have a family CA firm. My plans after getting degree is to become CA

Fees and Financial Aid

My year wise college fees is ?10171. In which the tution fees was ?800 , registration fees was , admission fees was ?200, development fees was ?1500, lab fees/ library fees was 200 and the remaining was other misc fees . And the fees for other categories was around 15k - 25k . I have not opted for scholarship so I don't know about it

Campus Life

3

Such festival typically help in every 3-4 months but I didn't like this function that much as these functions because of average experience . Sports and other extra curricular activities offered on campus is lowest.

Admission

I have choose this college because I was also doing my CA and the exam of Ca and college doesn't clash with each other and the other reason for choosing this clg was that the crowd of this clg is good and also that the clg is nearby my home so . The admission process is average but the staff that helps in admission process aren't that helpful . No I didn't get rejection from another college .

Faculty

3

The faculty to students ratio was average. I liked some of the teachers as they were helpful, while I didn't like some of them as I feel they to partiality . There are 2 semester in each year and the difficulty level of exams are average

Night Life

1

Cafeteria library and other public areas are very bad and always closed . There is no famous places inside or outside college and this is the worst part of the college . The campus timing of mine was from morning 7 to 11 or 12 in afternoon

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
