Remarks

This college is so strict when I was studying. They used to collect fine from the students for all silly reasons. After days passed on because of the strike by the students later it became little liberal but still they are strict than other College. In simple you can enjoy the college life as you wished.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The mode of coaching in the college was just okay. Can be more practical so that it would be easier to understand the concepts in real time. Coming to exam being this college affiliated to Anna University they follow 8 semester pattern

Placement Experience

2.5

They can't guarantee you to get placed in a core company. As most of the companies that come for recruitment is IT COMPANIES. Even in those companies they are just looking for people with computer knowledge and knowledge on c and C++.

College Events

1

Culturals - the cultural event was celebrated during the first year and a lyric writer was called as a chief guest for the event. Then we had some dance performances by various departments of the college. Later we had a DJ night where boys and girls were seperated by a barrier inbetween even though it's a coeducational institution you are not supposed to talk with girls.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is expensive and they will collect around 1.5 lakhs every year from each student in the name of fee and it includes the food and travel. And it is for 2 semesters. Apart from this they will collect money from students in the name of fine for silly reasons

Fees and Financial Aid

They do offer scholarships to the students who are scoring about 9.0 cgpa in a year i.e they have to score above 9.0 in both the semesters in a year. If so they will provide you with a scholarship cheque of 30,000. Beyond that till 8.9 they will give ?5000 per student

Campus Life

3

In our college we don't have any extra curricular activities. Only those students who are interested in sports and willing to represent the college in inter college sports will be allowed to practice that top after getting permission from the respective department HOD, class coordinator and class mentor. No other extracurricular activities

Alumni/Alumna

They just started an alumini association like 2 years back. First year they celebrated it in a little grand manner in Vadapalani. But last year event that was conducted within the college campus that too on Saturday during college hours. So pity to hear all these.

Admission

They do have extra seats that are filled through capitation apart from the seats that are filled directly by Anna University counseling. As I didn't have enough cut-off Marks to join this college. I joined by paying capitation.

Faculty

3

Some are very experienced and some are not worthy to be professors. Some professors are really encouraging and helpful to the students in all the ways. But some are just in the institution just for name sake.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.
