About the relevancy of course curriculum and comprehensiveness-I choose civil engineering because this is what I was getting in josa. Since I mean first year I would not like to comment on the curriculum of civil engineering because I have yet to study it.

Chandigarh has changed its internship program now student in the last semesters are only eligible for internship before it was for 5th semester also from they have changed this policy recently. Student or generally getting placed in paid internship here there is a club called as aic which brings company for 1st year internship program and 1st year student are also getting placed in pec Chandigarh

The placement for overall college is around 13 14 LPa But if you specifically choose CSC rec then this average will increase for CSE is around 17 lakh and for ECE is around 1500000 per annum Student become eligible for placement from third year onward. In 2025 the highest CTC was given by Apple around 63 lakh. Since I am doing civil engineering I will go in government exam preparation.

PEC Fee Structure: B.Tech fees are ?94,000 per semester (?88,000 tuition + ?6,000 other charges), totaling about ?1.88 lakh per year. At admission, students pay an additional ?19,000 (admission, service, and caution deposit). Hostel + mess cost around ?62,000–72,000 per year extra. Fees may increase by up to 10% yearly as per institute policy. Category-wise: General students pay full fees; SC/ST students get 50% tuition waiver; PwD/BPL/EWS may receive full or partial freeships depending on income. Scholarships: PEC offers merit-based freeships (full tuition for top JEE rankers and high-CGPA students), need-cum-merit scholarships, alumni-funded awards, and national schemes through NSP. Overall, the 4-year cost for a day scholar is roughly ?7.7 lakh, excluding hostel.

My college experience, in Chandigarh there is pecfest which recently was held and we enjoyed it but due to corruption I guess they cancelled star night which is the main event of pecfest. Books are available, you show your ID card and get the book. As for clubs there are many clubs in pecChandigarh awesome are s a a s c, p d c, Acm etc.

As I as said before according to my rank this is the college which I was getting so I choose this in Joseph counselling I did not reject other college other colleges rejected me. The admission process was better simple same as josa you get a lot at a seat then you come for counselling you pay the fees and you get admitted.

About faculty member of pech Chandigarh the facility to student ratio is 1: 15 faculties are pretty approachable. There is a professor who teaches a CP she gives proxy so we like her and then there is a professor who doesn't give proxy so we don't like him. As per exam we have midterm and term for each semester. Since I am in first year I don't know how many student fails to clear the exam as for the relevancy of the course it is pretty outdated

Our college is located in sector 12 of Chandigarh the most beautiful city in India near to our college there is nayagaon which is known as the red light of Chandigarh so you can imagine what college experience outside we can get closest market a sector 15 market where you can thrift. The hostel gate closes at 10:00 p.m.
