Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is a lot outdated, in the first semester you learn things which do not even have practical applications in today's real world but that is very much the same for all colleges but i did see some interesting courses for ournext semesters and some of the professors go out of their way to teach you interesting things so that's good. I believe the curriculum should be revised as soon as possible.

Internships Opportunities

2

I have not yet reached that stage where i am eligible for internships so i would notbe able to share my personal experience but from what i have heard a few companies do come for internship but the ratio of internships arranged from the college is very less and mostly students have to apply for internship oppurtunities externally.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think the annual fees that i have payed for the first year is 2.75 lakh. There was Jac delhi registeration fees for applying in this college. There are multiple state level and centre level scholarships for backward castes and women from low income families.

Campus Life

4

In the college you come across various societies, some provide actual value to you and help you enhancing your skills as well as proove to be academically beneficial but there are a few societies which will take a lot of your time but proove to be a waste. It is important to test the waters and choose the right society and get out of the useless ones asap

Admission

I chose DTU because of the exposure it provided and I analyzed the placement data which seemed pretty good. The biggest firms of various sectors visit this college every year which is something that differentiates it form other colleges.

Faculty

4

The faculty till now is very nicee and helpful. If you come up with your doubts they are motivated enough to help you solve them. They provide you with all teh material required for your exams. Sameer Sir is one of my favourite teachers who explained all the concepts in a very fun way, this semester would have been hard to cover if he was not there.

Interview Experience

5

No for the engineering courses, admission was directly through JAC Delhi. It isbased on JEE MAINS and no further group discussion, interview etc is required for the admission. One has to get a good rank to secure a seat in this college.

Night Life

4

There are variosu cafes spread over the campus which are known to be late night hangout spots for all the students, libraries have extended timings till 5AM for the exam seasons and public areas are almost always open for one. Though the area just out of the campus is not that great one can find nice cafes and malls at a small distance.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
