Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well structured and industry oriented syllabus. This course includes theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Laboratory work ,internship based projects influences me to take admission at this course. The timing of exam is good and moderate. The course should give more focus on technical knowledge also which may help the students to gain more knowledge.
Fees and Financial Aid
Iam a Btech student of Delhi University. I pay 53000 approximately every year for this course. Tution fees of general category student is 10000-15000 per year and for ST/SC is very minimal as per government norms. University admissions fees is 500,library fees is 1000 and Examination fees is 1500-2000. Different scholarships are there like Merit cum mean scholarships, Post metric scholarships,NSP etc.
Campus Life
Different technical festivals are held by DU. Different books and journals are available in the library. New books are also available in library every year. Sports and extracurricular activities ar also held by the university and students are engage int he programs. Students also run different clubs for students wellfare.
Admission
I applied for various colleges like Punjab University, Kiit University, Hitech colleges but I choose this college because of the fee structure. This college fees is really affordable for all category of students. I got finalized for Punjab University and Hitech college but Kiit University reject my application because of lack of seats for general category student. Admission process is frist through online and then once online application is accepted offline process got started.
Faculty
The faculty ratio is 1:15 to 1:20 and students are also same. 20 -30 students ar divided into per lab groups. Dr. S.K.Gupta is very good teacher. He is teaching Electronics & Communication Engineering at our University. He make concepts easy for the students. Total 8 semester are there in 4 years. Including internals, assignments and end semester exams. Questions are not too difficult or not so easy. Conceptual question are there.
Interview Experience
The topic in GD are based on how I perform in m 12th and why I want to pursue this course and what is plan after completing this course. The criteria for admission based on your cut off marks which varies accordingly with different courses. I saw many youtube vedios to prepare for this
Night Life
The garden area in the campus is best for hangout with friends. Cafeterias are very crowded place of the university. Hostel timing is from 9AM to 10 PM for girls for boys the closing time is 11 PM. Campus opens at 7 AM and closes at 9 PM.
