Campus facilities, girls hostel fee & restrictions in gmrit

Here in the college I hate the curriculum I don't know why but I often feel like well can I get job by reading these books...? Absolutely not and our curriculum doesn't really helps to build to real world projects but it can help to give strong academic foundations that you cannot expect and the teaching methods are old fashioned some people go with ppts and some other go with chalk and talk and in my opinion old is gold and also the exams are conducted 3 terms like mid 1 will happen after first 2 months and sem and mid2 happens after. Last 2 months and each semester we are going to have 4 months only and I thought that I can build projects but curriculum really disappointed me

Well recently our College been organized the quantam hackathon in that event to teams went to semifinals one team went to finals they outcome is good and also the tcs been recently visited our college to give placement to students in 2026 in this year we got 248 offers from Infosys which is quite good but the highest package is 16 lpa by product based company Darwin box andd also the stipend is quite good for reputated companies in Infosys we got intership letters and the roles they are offering is some times developer or trainee and some times testing roles it is based on our skill and company requirements and so many people in our college is getting support roles which is quite acceptable and projects are very good professors helps to us build real time projects if we are interested and patience too but I hope this review helps you to get the idea about our college i am proud to be gmirtian

Well when it comes to placements our collge is best in my opinion they force the students to get placed no matter what and I love that too and they talk with companies HRs and they arrange meetings with students about recent market trends and average package we can get in our college is 4 lpa no matter what and my plans after this degree go with gate or else good software job but I love to be in reasearch field and also the placements are quite decent in our collge because the chart is always 800+ you can see in our college website and you can get trainee role or developer role based on your skills but collge provides wonderful opportunity for the people

Well my father is a army officer and the year fee of collge is 72600 and additional to that every one need to pay 13450 for building fund every year and also the exams fee for every semester each 2250 and for chemistry lab there is a lab fee which is around 80-100 and there are uniform charges per pair we need to pay 800 and for jvd students who get scholarship from government are paying building fund and hostel fee if they are going to stay in hostel and as per my knowledge the bus fee is around 22000-25000 based on our destination I got seat in this college due to OBC certificate and fees are little high. But our college provide give some support for merit based students

The social life in our college is acceptable i cannot say it super because of restrictions in our college especially for girls and tech fests are quite happen every year and there are fests that are considered to be best is stepcone and annual day we can enjoy a lot in those days which happens around jan and Feb and also there 10 clubs i think maths club and dance club lot of clubs especially csi,acm,iste these are students chapters which helps us to conduct events in a good way and when it comes to books and journals our collge is top notch you can get lot of books and they support us to get new books if the books are not available in the library and the college provides lot of resources based on the use case you can get in the position of what you want

Facilities are good washroom are clean and the rooms are old and switches are old but they maintain very neat and clean but I hate it when I compliant any thing about the room they didn't care for 1 day when we go twice or thrice then they come to the room and check I often feel like what the heck is this but hostel food is quite acceptable and we need to pay the entire fee at the start of each semester which is headache well in girls hostel they organize everything in a well manner tha seniors are quite helpful when it comes to sports and jobs in the hostel they teach us the concepts if we don't know

Well in EAMCET counselling i applied for several colleges across the ap and most of that I want to be in anits collge which is in vizag but I got this college in my counselling but I never regret to be in gmrit and well my rank is not enough to get the seat in Anits collge but exams are moderate as I said before you can easily score by previous year papers and overall admission process is quite good and our collge accepts cse below 10k rank you can easily get the seat of you are good enough score marks in EAMCET and my college helps a lot of people and have several connections with reputated companies which is quite helpful to students to get new jobs

The faculty are good because they provide good amount of knowledge and some faculty treats us like their family and some are very strict and I don't like them because their not friendly with me and exams are quite moderate if you listen to the classes by the faculty you can easily pass in the examinations and also the curriculum I hate it because it is not industry ready and not placements ready it kind of furstating for us because of curriculum and students are very high count and faculty are also good amount of number each class contains 74 students with good benches and have good ppt technology the boards are quite good and they clean by workers every day some faculty did their PhD their knowledge is vast about cse some other faculty maintains good projects which are excellent in my opinion and by the time I leave this I think it's going to be deemed to be university and I am happy to be an gmirtian

Well hostel students can get the gym free and hostel is good when it comes to girls or boys boys hostel are excellent compare to girls hostels in gmrit and my favourite hangout places is canteen which clean and excellent and also the greenery is quite good and lot of people walk around GMRIT ground and our college is around 150 acres which is quite big and also there is restrictions for girls to allow night time in the college and hostel mess timings are 7 to 9 and there is no ragging and no seniority in the hostel which is pleasant and also the life in gmrit is awesome but sad thing I didn't even see the college in nyt time due to restrictions because I stay in girls hostel in gmrit
