Excellent Faculty with Good Placement

Good accommodation faculty in local area. There many PG, Hostels are available in local area with in affordable price. Food quality in local messs are average. Some political and apolitical activities creat impact in Jadavpur University's glory.

Jadavpur has good course curriculum as compared as IITs and NITs. For Engineering In one semester University conduct 3 compulsory examinations of each subject two class test of 30 marks and 100 marks semester paper.

Placement Senirio in Jadavpur University is very good. Last year almost 79% students are placed and highest package was 40LPA from Computer Science Department. Some of the students from Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical are placed in HPCL and BPCL from on campus interview. Chemical Engineering department has 100%core placement with 12.4LPA highest package which is far better thank some IITs. In every year our college conduct internship placement for 3rd year students companies like Amazon, Samsung Semiconductors, Microsoft, Honeywell, Reliance, IOCL, Halida Petroleum, Visa, Tata Motors, Hero motorcrops, Suez etc.

There few events like Sanskrit, U-turns, Sippas, Departmental freshers for each and every departments, for chemical engineering department we have CHEMbridge, CHEMAtholan, CHEM innova. But it is true that our fests are not that much attractive than IITs.

Amazing fees structure in Jadavpur University. Jadavpur University is chippest Engineering college in world. We need pay only 2400 rupess per year and for four years it is 9600 rupees which nothing for such premium institution.

Labs in our college have very well infrastructure as comapre with IITs. Jadavpur University Stand 7th in All India in Number of publishing paper in a year. Jadavpur University have separate sports faculty, there are one football play ground one Cricket ground. There few basketball and tenis court in college.

Honestly it is true that Hostel Facility of Jadavpur University is very poor it is under ordinary level. But the fees of hostel is very less just 15 rupees per month and mess fees within 1500. In comapre with IITa JUST hostels are far behind from them.

Jadavpur University have alumni head office in California. We have alumnis in every where in the world and in India. Very large numbers of alumis are served as professors in premium IITs. Former Reliance petroleum MD was Alumi of jadavpur university chemical engineering department

Through WBJEE, I secured a rank of 862, by counseling i got Chemical Engineering. In WBJEE we need to give a exam of 200 marks 100makrs mathematics, 50 marks chemistry and 50 marks physics. If any student can score within 1050 Rank he or she must be admitted in JULY.

I think engineering faculty of Jadavpur University is as good as IIT kgp or IIT Delhi. Our faculty members have very attractive techniques of teaching and their friendly behavior effect on us more and more.
