Remarks
The infrastructure of the college is so good. And the buildings and hostels are good. Teaching culture is also helpful and helps in development. The rules of college are bit more strict than other colleges. They fine you at each and every step that you take. The other expenses are also high which I think college should reduce.
Course Curriculum Overview
The overall course curriculum is good and it covers mostly all the important subjects which are required. Also the lab and practicals are done so that all round development of the student is achieved.
Placement Experience
Placements in Marwadi University start in the final semester. Many companies come to recruit freshers but all those companies are local level companies. Big companies like amazon also visit but those are off campus placements. So they make the advertisement that amazon visited marwadi but amazon actually visited the whole city. Only marwadi was a center for it. Local level companies are also poor with there environment. Many students quit after working for a month or two.
College Events
There are mainly 3 events carried out in Marwadi University namely YOUTH FEST, MAGNUS and SYNERGY. Youth fest is a Gujarat level fest and all the students from all the colleges of Gujarat are invited here. Magnus and Synergy are college level fests. Fashion Show, Disco Nights etc are organised by the organisers. The fests are fun in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is expensive. They charge nearly 50000-60000 per semester. And for the hostel the fees is 80000 per year. That is nearly 1,80,000 per year for an engineering college. The fee is quite high for the middle and lower class people.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not get any scholarship or loan for my engineering. But the students with good marks in 10th and 12th who are economically backward, can get 100% scholarship. They only have to pay the GTU fee which is mandatory for every student. The university provides this scholarship to economically backward section so that the student can get educated without spending much money.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities include Fests, Celebrations etc. Everyday there is 2 hours of lab period. That includes practical work and lab work. Facilities are different from class. Sports playground include volleyball, basketball, cricket, football, etc
Alumni/Alumna
Some of the seniors are helpful. They help in over project work and documentation work. They also help by giving tips and tricks to score better. I do not know about Alumni students as I have no experience with them.
Admission
According to merit list, the college student is selected by ACPC rank. We can choose multiple colleges and can wait for the rounds. After final round, if we are eligible, we get notified and we have to proceed the admission by paying the fees.
Faculty
The faculty is highly qualified and works on the student's all round development. The course is completed before the deadline and they also help in project and submission work. The faculty will also help in cultural fests and other co-curricular activities
