Entrance Preview

I took JEE Mains entrance exam to get admission in college. Admission process is simple, there will 3-4 counselings and you will get seat in college according to your rank in exam ( JEE mains ). I got 17295 rank in JEE mains exam and i choose this college because this is good ranked college and also in my home state.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is not popular among students. It is treated as low value branch (course) but it us not true this is a very good course and teachers are fully dedicated to thier work.

Internships Opportunities

As I am in starting of second year I've not any internship experience but i heard from seniors that their experience was good.

68 offers have been made towards students if our branch. Average package is 4 lack. Jindal steel, Reliance, Tata and many other good companies visited campus.

College Events

Many cultural festival are organized in college. Many events like treasure hunt, debate, code making, cultural night, are there in festivals.There are no technical fest organized by college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholarshios are available for ST/SC category students and some for OBC. For general category students of home state( Rajasthan) CM higher education scholarship is available which gives 50% of academic fees back. Educational loans are also available for all.

Campus Life

Here you will have a very good campus life. Many cultural societies are there like music, dance, drama, acting, photography, technical, literacy and sports you can choose one of them. There is no fear of raging totally student familiar environment. Here students come from many parts of india and from abroad too ( generally NRIs) Girl's - Boy's ratio is about 1:10. Many technical workshop are organized here.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent.
