- The infrastructure of classrooms are not to good and size of classrooms are also small.
- The college does not have proper ground for games like cricket and football
- It does not have sports complex and open air theatre like some of other colleges
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculums is same as other nit's and iits but there is some nounces like writting files and other things and such things but the curriculum pattern is too much old and the in the syllabus also we have too study out dated things which are not used in today's time.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for placement after 6 th semester and at the starting of 6 semester students start getting ppo i.e pre placement offers and other things . This year many companies have visited here like wipro,hcl,etc and the average package is 8 lpa and percentage of students placed are 15 to 20 percent.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are mainly two types of seats one is tfw and other is normal so in tfw you have to pay only 20000 per annum and for non tfw you have to pay 85000 per annum and for other categories SC ST and OBC scholarships on the basis of parental income but mainly everyone gets scholarship if the income is less than or equal to 2 lakh. Scholarship amount varies but the average is 50000 per year and you have to maintain attendance of 75%.
Campus Life
There are two annual fest one of which is a technical fest whose name is Twran and other is a cultural fest whose name is Anubhuti and there are many other small fests like effulgence which held between the semesters and many others. The facilities for sports and extracurricular activities are not present at a good level.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels provided for first year is good generally three students are there in a room and different almiras are provided for keeping stuff. But in second and third year the hostels are not too good and they require maintenance. Mess food is also good but some times they get worse but if you complain once they start making good again.
Admission
I have mainly applied for biet jhansi and hbtu kanpur but I have leaved both the Colleges for this college because biet jhansi doesn't have good placements ratio and it is situated in a outer area where transportation facilities are not available and I have leaved hbtu kanpur because of its fees
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is also not bad generally there are more than one teacher for same subject in different branches. The ct which occur in between semester exam are easy but the end semester exams are tough.
Night Life
The night life for the college is very good but especially in first year students are not allowed to go out after 5 pm just to save them from any kind of ragging and other practices.there are cafeteria and other shops present there for refreshment and other things but they generally close up to eleven pm . The hostel doesn't provide food at Saturdays night
