Course Curriculum Overview

4

I rate 9/10 the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness beacause My course which is B.Com (H), completely based on accounting and finance which influenced me to pursue this course. Course includes the subjects such as Marketing, HR, Finance which helps to purse the course like MBA, CFA, etc Course curriculum is all good but little improvements are needed in subjects like HRM, Marketing, etc where these subjects are theoritical, just need little practical learning. teaching style is professional. 2 exams in one year and timing is 6 months and diffuclty level is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are many companies offer internship in the DSC in various roles such as HR, Finance and Marketing, etc. in which stipend ranges from Rs.15,000 - Rs. 25,000 depends upon roles and responsibilities. We have designated soceity for the placements and internships. Project and roles and responsibilties are written in the internship description.

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible from 5th semester to sit in the placements. Companies visited in the college are KPMG, EY, PWC, Accenture, TCS, etc. Highest package was around Rs. 36 lakhs (Company not disclosed) and average package was around Rs. 5 lakhs almost provided by all companies. Percentage was not disclosed but having the significant amount of students are placed. My plans after degree is to pursue higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees for B. Com (H) course around Rs.16000 which is bifurcated into different segments like tution fees, development fees, etc. Batchmates fees who belong the category other than me have have same fees such as UR, SC. The name of Scholarship provided by my college is NSP (National Scholarship Portal) on the basis of the income which helps the student who are not beloning from the financially stable background.

Campus Life

5

Name of the annual festival is Priyadarshani and month in which it typically held is Feburary - March. More than 3,000 + books and journals are combinedly available in the library. Projectors are available in the classrooms along with the good vantilation facilities. Wide range of sports are available like cricket, football, etc. Students who run social clubs and societies get great exposure and networking.

Admission

I applied for other colleges too such as Allahabad university and i got confirmed addmission on it but i choose this college over other college because of faculty, placements, course curriculum, etc. No, I did not get rejections from other college. My college comes under Delhi University. So, the admission process through CSAS portal (Common Seat Allocation System). Exams accpeted are CUET and preffered is also same, cutoffs for UR around 720/800 and OBC around 650/800 and overall experience is good.

Faculty

5

Faculty to student ratio around 1:70. Except some all the faculties are expert in their domain and faculties have good terms of realtion with students and approchable too which helps the students not in academic but in carrer too. Comapany law faculty are exceptional beacuse his teaching style make him unique. Best faculties such as Company law, Business maths, financial managermnt, principles of marketing etc. All the faculties are good but eveyone have their personal choice. faculties which i did jot like is Management principles and applications. Exams are 1/semester.Its moderate and very few numbers of students fail to clear the exam.It is relevant to our curriculum where exams like business maths, financial management.

Night Life

4

Favourite handgout spots is maggi point, late night activities are walking in the college. These experiences help the students to reduce the stress and anxiety. Gyms are not available, Canteens, library and public areas are available and open throught the college running day. Campus timing is 8 AM - 8 PM. Famous hangout spots are red benches (inside) and maggi point (outside). No idea about loacality safe to roam

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
