College life of a Delhite

Basically our course is better but there are some improvement that is to be made and is needed. Like most of the core and vac sec subjects dont have practical and real world experiences which could be not so good in our curriculum

Many big companies like PWC, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, etc come to the college and offer internships to students of different courses. Positions like research intern, marketing intern, finance intern etc are available for internships. Jobs are also offered..

Placement of our college depend on the batch and students. Last year records shows placement of our college to he eighy lakhs per annum. After getting degree I'm thinking of getting a mba college in delhi.

The fees for bachelor of commerce honours in sri venkateswara college is Rs. 22855 for the general category. The fees is slightly less for sc, st, and obc and also students having ews quota. There are manh government scholarships available.

Basically our college have many different types of societies. Even i am also in many of them. Their impact is good. Many clubs are active and many are not so it depends on the societies. There are student run social groups like enactus and nss.

I applied for indian institute of management, jammu for bba+mba integrated course but could not get in because of my marks. This college is better than other south campus colleges and some of the north campus colleges like ramjas.

Faculty to student ratio is about 1:20. Some teachers are very strict and harass students. They dont consider are well being. A few teachers are good though, they consider students as human beings and help us improve.

The college is nearby satya niketan which has many cafes and shops. Marker area is filled with daily need stores and shops for getting stationery, printouts, and other important stuff. Maggi point inside the college is a very famous hangout spot.
