Course Curriculum Overview

Couse is designed according to real world application amd relevance. If i would have to suggest some improvements, usage of more industry based software can be one. Exams are not that difficult but require efforts to score good

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Placement Experience

Students often get placement before their 3rd year or last semester is completed. Highest placement this year (2025) was around 32 lakhs p.a. but only a few get that kind of a placement. Average placement stays 4 lakhs p.a. in campus placements. Most students go through a good network on their own. My plan is to get a campus placement or a government job

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for bcom hons in dyal singh college is as follows: 1st year- 16000 rs 2nd year-12000 rs 3rd year- 12000 rs 4th year- 12000 rs (These approximate amounts) The total fees of entire course is approximately around 50000 rs College provides government and national scholarships as well as college-level and other scholarships

Campus Life

Fests are generally hosted by societies but not held very often, cancelled frequently instead. Books are available in a large variety and quantity. Library itself is huge. Infrastructure is better compared to other colleges.

Admission

The admission process is through CUET exam. I had preferred other colleges above this one but due to high competition and not that high score, i got this college, but I am not disappointed due to its posh location and helpful faculty

Faculty

I have good experience with the faculty especially teachers, they are knowledgeable and provide guidance. Exams are not that difficult. Mainly there are 3 core exams ans 4 other exams(AEC, SEC, VAC, GE). Course curriculum is quite relevent and up to date

Night Life

College is in delhi and also in a prominent location, and delhi is known for its night life. Our college doesn't have hostel or gym, but locality is safe. Famous hangout place is lodhi garden, humayun tomb, etc

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I have applied for I have applied for few of the north campus colleges and few other colleges from the South campus. I got confirmed admission form DCAC. I chose it because I am a tabla player and music society is very good. The admissions are generally accepted to CUET UG examination. No I didn't applied for any other college and I choose this college over other college because of the course and the exposure which I get in this college it might be possible I will not get in any other college.
