Remarks

As far as i concern, only bad remarks about the college is the distance from the city. Although this is the best place to learn and grow.

Entrance Preview

To get eligible for admission, one must appear for CAT Entrance Exam conducted at All India level. IMT is one of the best B school in India with best curriculum, infrastructure, experienced faculty, industry interaction and nice environment. I got around 92 %ile in CAT exam and got admmision in 2 year full time PGDM course. This course is offered full time On-Campus residential program which gives you opportunity to experience best part of life. Everyone there had the best time along with excellent learning.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is one of the best for management students. Case study method is used to indulge students in real life scenario. Curriculum encourages group study and group activities to prepare students to work in a group within an organization.

Internships Opportunities

Various companies from different domain came to recruit students for internship. ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints, Verity, Berger Paints,Infosys, TCS, TATA Motors, etc. These are some of the big names came to campus. Stipend is generally given on average 15k per month. Stipend depends upon the company profile and job role.

Placement Experience

Placements are good and many reputed companies came to campus to hire. Minimum package is around 5 lac per annum. Almost every student got placed with good package and location. Job opportunities are there for every student.

College Events

Annual function, Milestone35, flagship event, milestone34, sports event and many In-campus management games and events happen which never let you bored.

MBA courses are generally on expensive side but when you are getting good college to study and placements are good then this will be no worry situation.

Yes there are some loan and finance facility available. Certain banks have there tie-ups with college which solves financing facility of the students.

Campus life is excellent with good atmosphere in the hostel. Various activities, sports events, playground, tennis court, badminton court and there are management games happened throughout the year conducted by different forums and clubs to engage the students inside the campus. Library is there with seating capacity having all references and magazines to support the studies.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
