- I liked the societies, the crowd, campus life, the faculty.
- Social service socities, UPSC societies, a place for all students.
- the infrastructure is very well for a govt college, especially for sports.
Dislikes
- Nothing as such but research labs could be invested in a little more.
- More field trips for practical subjects would also be helpful.
- The college can also built an indoor badminton court and other infrastructure since a lot of space is idle but that definitely would require additional funding.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is highly relevant given the increase in semiconductor technology and AI/ML these days. We're kept updated by our faculty on all recent develpments in the field which makes us employable an skilled.
Internships Opportunities
There are numerous internship opportunities available in the college for students from all courses and they provide great work experience and stipend, many major corporations and consultancy firms also hire interns from our college.
Placement Experience
We have a student run placement cell in the college that takes care of on campus placements. Several companies hire interns and employees from our college and the overall picture of placements is quite promising compared to other colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee is 22,653 out of which the tuition charges are only 300, university fee is 2940, college student welfare fund is 4300, college development fund fees is 1800, college facilites and service charges fees is 12613, weaker student support fee is 700. No scholarship. Not sure of fee of batchmates. Several kinds of aid are available for disadvantaged students.
Campus Life
The campus life is excellent with numerous student run societies functioning in various different domains, we also have numerous cultural and academic events throughout the year which makes our college ideal for social life.
Admission
I chose this college for proximity to my house, and esteemed societies, and DU campus life. I've been very satisfied on all parameters since the college is really good and has good faculty, satisfactory placement and internship opportunities and extremely nice societies.
Faculty
Everything is very fair, the faculty marks us based on internal exam grades, practical exams, and the theory exams are checked at the university level. The difficulty level of the exams is ideal and the faculty makes use of ICT tools to make learning easier.
Night Life
Since Satya Niketan is right across the road, the nightlife is pretty good with numerous cafes and restaurants available at close distance from the college, there are also some gaming cafes that provide really nice service in the area.

I wanted to have more than just academics at my college. DU colleges offer a lot more extracurricular activities and societies compared to Amity and I wanted to be a part of DU culture, hence I went for Sri Venkateswara College.
