Likes
- LPU infrastructure to me strikes first as that's the clutch area of any university.
- Students are supposed to stay in the campus for most part and therefore for students to unwind there are parks, shopping complex and endless food points in and just outside the campus.
- Toughness of our course is too high as LPU has indulged way too many complications but are required to be a top engineer.
Dislikes
- Fees for placements training was charged and that I felt was unethical.
Course Curriculum Overview
There were many reasons and not just the reasons but more of necessity to choose this course. I don't think any other course today bring as much opportunity and handy things which CSE brings. Out of everything that was taught at LPU, sometimes a few things did felt useless but now when I am approaching the end I know how valuable they were.
Placement Experience
University is stubborn when it comes to placements and therefore many such engaging things keeps happening every year. Now when final placements happened university gave the loudest shout and waited for the winning race as placements here won with flying colours.
Fees and Financial Aid
Lovely Professional University even though one of the largest university fees is still a small piece of it. Even IITs charge close to 3-4 lakhs a year and that is what LPU charges. Our fees was 2.3 lakhs for CSE on and average for each year that I paid for 4 years. Hostel fees was 1.8 lakhs per year and that depends on room category you choose.
Campus Life
LPU has very highly active societies as they run deeper and deeper and teach us things which no other place can make us know. So, tell you what, if you are in LPU and don't join societies there's no point joining this university. LPU has the best surface and also when there's some rain this region our campus looks even more beautiful.
Hostel Facilities
A lot of changes are seen in hostels facilities as university have roll the highest number on dice for the residence facilities. Earlier juniors were made mandatorily to live in three seater rooms but it has changed to 2 seaters now. Food is always amazing and that is why as soon as lunch or dinner starts it is chuffed with students.
Admission
One needs to make an impact at LPU Nest to be in the mix of things at CSE. Around 200k gave LPU best last year and only 1200 got CSE, so one can assume the toughness to get into LPU. So one needs to put in more efforts to get admission at Lovely Professional University.
Faculty
Faculties of GEU exactly what to bring from back of the hand. The clip away nicely with each class and especially during the fag end LPU faculties becomes more aggressive. So all the emotions that needs to be learned are learned from our faculties itself besides the education that they impart. If I just consider 2-3 out of every single professor I have had a great outing with all of them.
Night Life
Chole and Kulche centers are in numbers outside the university and also rental scooty, bike and car facilities too are plenty here. There's a delicate balance with hangout options inside the campus as it's always action packed but whenever I need peace, I step out for the same to Gurudwara and Amritsar.
