The college holds a strong brand value which really helps out when you are looking for jobs or while applying for post-graduation courses. There isn't much of any so called cliché college life but still it doesn't turn out so bad either. It might either be a win-win situation or a total breakdown depending on the batchmates and teachers you are tagged along with.

Main exams would be conducted in terms and eligibility exams for each term would be conducted once in two months. Students should pass the eligibility exams and submit the said assignments in order to gain the minimum required marks and thereby appear for the term or the main examinations.

Placements are available for students who standout in their academics. The college as such doesn't provide any companies to do internships but in the last year, students who opted for model two courses should do a 2 month internship and submit the reports. This reports would be evaluated and questioned by an external faculty in the form of VIVA. The scores gained from VIVA would be later added to the GDPA of the student. In the usual process of internships, students would not avail any stipends. But since the students are to find the companies to do the internships on their own, there is a very thin chance of gaining stipends.

There are a number of competitions conducted by the college including arts, sports, literature, gaming and computer-based. Inter-college fests are conducted for students throughout Kerala where they battle through gaming and coding.

The fee structure of the college when compared to others is quite feasible. Students who got in through academic allotments would have to pay a small amount as fee whereas, the ones who got through via management seats would have to pay a bit higher amount.

This would be something that needs to be talked with the management. Students who can show legit documents of their not-so-sound financial background can study in the college without being any different from the other students and their situation kept well secret.

The labs of the college could be rated with a 4 out of 5. Students can go to labs in their free time to complete the assigned works with the permission of their respective teachers. However, literally there will never be any free periods in RCMAS. Free time could only be availed either during the breaks or after the college hours. Same applies for sports and other extracurricular activities.

There isn't anything called the "alumni network" in RCMAS. The seniors who are still in college prove to be helpful in every sort of manner they can. The ones who are graduated, isn't of much help tbh.

Students who gain more marks than the said percentage in their 12th would be called on for an interview after submission and evaluation of their submitted application forms. Performance during the interview would be evaluated along with the marks gained in high school and then results would be announced within a month.

The faculty of the college seems to be a bit stubborn and tough to get along with during the first two years. Though we'd hope that they would be more friendly during the last year, it doesn't happen till the very end of it. Towards the end we'll start to see the faculty from a different perspective where everyone seems to be super-friendly and easy to get along with. Though there are exceptions in both cases as some teachers are friendly from the very beginning and some professors who are never friendly tbh.
