Course Curriculum Overview
It's very hectic, from first year to final year theory exams viva voce. Practicals and so much. It requires total dedication towards studies. Some students spend whole of their day in library. But is totally worth it as you are gonna be doctor in future.
Placement Experience
We have internship for 1year with stipend of just ?6000 per month. It's very less doing work for more than 24 hours or sometimes48 hours at a stretch with no time for food. Even then such little stipen.
College Events
All festival Ganesh Pooja, Diwali, Cultural fest, Marathon, Rangoli, Dashera, Shivaji jayanti, Singing competition, Workshops, Doctors day, Quizzes, Blood donation days, And many such events. We even have some trips to nearby institutes.
Fee Structure And Facilities
74000/year, It's very cheap as compared to private medical College which have fees ranging from 7 lack to 35 lack per year. It's a government institutions so fees is very less. But even the facility are also very poor.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, college does not provide loan but it being a government institutions government is paying scholarship to Sc/St and minorities. They get full refund of fees from government. It's almost free for them.
Campus Life
They are good, labs are great salacious with good technician. Extracurricular activities are also conducted but it being a professional institution they are mostly neglected. Focus is only on clinical practice. They only have limited resources for sports like no playground only a small volleyball net.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, hostel are good but only for boys. Girls hostel is very congested. Boys hostels is one of the best hostel in n the entire state. The only drawback is that boys hostels are located in outskirts of the city with few facility.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior are very helpful, they will teach you guide you. Help you in every possible way. Only senior can help you pass your term exams. All senior are very very helpful. I don't think there is any alumni network or something like this in our college.
Admission
We have to give NEET and based on the rank there is a common nation wide counselling and according to our rank we get a seat. Counselling is different for state quota seats and for 15% natinal quota seats.
