Kranthi's Review On Andhra University, College Of Engineering - [AUCE], Visakhapatnam

No negative remarks, since I am writing this review on my college where I am grown to an individual because of my college. I can say my college taught me a lot in both highs and lows. Good college Good people and good life.

The course is for 4 years. That’s an engineering college you have to attend the labs from first year. There are 7 semesters. Coming to exams , each exam is for 100 marks 30 internal and 70 external. Internal and external combines calculated in GPA.

Placements are nominal. Every year you will get companies like Infosys Wipro HCL DST L&T. Most of the departments will have MOUs with different companies so that they will pick the students accordingly and will get placed in their companies.

Events are like festivals to us. We have the biggest ground. Every year we have inter molars which means games between different departments. Events we do , we organise department day everywhere and conducts different workshops and national conferences for the research people.

Fees is very feasible. 10000 per year and coming to hostel we will get a bill of 6000 per quarter. Rooms are quiet old since they are built in 1926. Good college great people and nice memories.

For 10000 fees , no one goes for loan. But government of Andhra Pradesh provides the scholarship of 10000 rupees who finishes the top in the class. For our department we have one alumni who funds one of the student who tops in the year.

We have a lot of extra curricular activities. We conduct department games in every game from cricket ? tennis ? carrom and chess and table tennis ?.coming to hostel we conduct hostel games and at night we will have a finest dinner.

We have a finest alumni group one can say. Because the college has been changed a lot since the works of alumni people started interfering. Due to their work we got a centralised Air conditioned Auditorium with seating of 500 people. Departments and labs got good infrastructure.

By writing the entrance exam and securing a good rank in it. The exam comprises of three sections which are mathematics physics chemistry. The total marks for the exam 160. Mathematics 80 physics 40 chemistry 40.

In our department we have 15 professors out of which 7 are professors,4 associate professors and 4 assistant professors. All the faculty were MTech grads and some are PHD holders too. Good college good professors.
