One of the Best Medical Colleges in Bihar

This Is one of the best medical colleges in bihar but it is lacking in infrastructure, it is spread over 250 acres but a lot of its land remains unused or taken over, many wards and hostels have problem of water logging in slightest rain but the teachers and seniors are very helpful

The MBBs course is one of the most extensive and hardest course, it consists of 19 subjects over a period of 4.5 years and a compulsory internship of one year. The passing marks for the mbbs are 50% unlike other courses where it is 33 to 35%. moreover the syllabus is very extensive

If you want to get into a a job just after MBBS you can surley get one, placement is 100% although there are no campus placement. 1 year internship is compulsory after MBBS and is provided by the college, the stipen is Rs15000 as in 2019 and supposed yo get 18000 in 2020

There are two events celebrated in my college the Sarswati Pooja and the College foundation day both are celebrated in February. The Sarswati pooja is celebrated with great pomp and show, its most spectacular sarswati pooja in whole Bihar, over 10000 people vist the Pooja tent each year, the organisation of pooja and all the management is done by 2nd year students, its a two day fest.1st day its pooja 2nd day its cultural fest and visarjan. College Foundation Day is celebrated on 23rd February each year though its more like college foundation week, there are various activities like games quiz photography competition rangoli and painting competition organised all over the week. Alumni from all over the world visit the collge for this day

Fee Structure is very feasible both the hostel fee and the college fee are very low as it is a government college.The colege fee is deposited just before the professional exams and there is also examination fee which is required to fill forms for end year of university exams

College does not offer any scholarship but there are various other scholarships for which a student belonging to a minority community can apply and for those from general category you can easily get student loan if you are in this college.

Sports fest is organised once each year and where there are various sports like cricket badminton volley ball chess carrom table tenis races shot put etc. cricket and volleyball tournament are organised twice a year once with sports fest and once separately. Labs are well eqipped with microscopes slides dyes and whatever else you may need.

Hostel Infrastructure is fine its only problem is a kind of jungle formed by unwanted plants formed behing the hostel. Hostels have mess and each floor has 5 bathrooms and 5 toilets and a water purifers and a water cooler, hostels also have generators for power backup, there is additional charge of rs 2400 per anum for the generator

the best thing about the college is the seniors in this college if you are even least bit social then also you get to know almost all your seniors and juniors and seniors are very helpful, in every field.

I Got admission through an enternce exam, after the exam there was counseling where you were supposed to select your college based on your rank and choice available then your documents were to be sent to the selected college where you were supposed to go and do the paperwork on a alloted date and get admission, it usually takes up almost a whole day

All the faculties are well qualified and are eager to help if are willing to learn, all the techers are experts in their fields and students can take full benifit of their experience while they are in clinical postings.
