The curriculum is relevant for building strong Fundamentals in subjects like physics, mathematics and computer science. It aligns well with university standards and is useful for higher studies and competitive exams. It is focused on current industry trends. They also teach AI , operating systems ,programming languages etc. The course covers a wide range of core topics along with practical labs giving students complete academic base.

Internship opportunities for bsc cs students are moderate but depends on students efforts. Department organises training programs and workshops to prepare us for placements. Paid internships may offer around rs 5000 per month. Roles include basic IT,lab and reasearch work for science students. Recently students did the training program or internship of IBM.

At ssipmt , tech placement for bsc cs students are relatively limited compared to btech. So many students go for higher studies or government exams prep in bsc. However the college helps in building basic academic knowledge and skills which improves overall employability. The average package of ssipmt is around rs 5 LPA. The faculty members constantly keeps making efforts for students placements. For btech students placements opportunities are available from good companies offering good package. From the second year placement opportunities are available for students. The highest package was for btech students about rs 42 lpa. Placement rate is around 80 percent. Top recruiters are microsoft , adobe ,Tcs etc.

The Bsc fee structure at Ssips is quite affordable around rs 30000 per year. The caution fee is rs 1000 making it a good option for budget conscious students. There are minimal extra charges but hostel fees is comparatively high. The total tuition for 3 years comes to around rs 90000. The bus transport fee depends on the area which student lives in. The hostel fees per year is around rs 75000. Admission fees is rs 2000. While tution fee does not increase but hostel and bus fees can increase.

The college organizes annual cultural events like agresita that is held in late march. Agresita is the biggest fest of ssipmt. Tech events and workshops is conducted in every fest. Workshops are held very frequently. These include seminars ,guest lectures and subject rekated competitions. Events are well organized and students actively participate. Students can easily issue books through the libarry card and the library contains many books . In class they use projectors for teaching. The labs are spacious and well maintained. College encourages students to participate in sports . Sports event also is held, indoor and outdoor both. Students clubs involve the cultural club , toastmaster club etc.

I chose ssipmt mainly beacuse of its affordable fee structure and easy admission process compared to other colleges i considered. Many other colleges had higher fees especially when including transport charges while ssipmt offered a budget friendly fee structure to complete my bsc. Regarding admission process, it was smooth and straightforward. There was no complicated entrance exam requirement for bsc and the procedure mainly involved submitting documents and paying the initial fees. As for other colleges , the fees were high and the campus life was less fun . Ssipmt turned out to be a balanced choice .

The faculty members are supportive and helpful, creating a good learning environment for students. The course is well structured with a semester exam system that balances theory and practical knowledge. The exam system is organized with internal assessments and final exams ensuring consistent evaluation. There are 2 internal exams or class tests and one final exam each semester. The difficulty level is moderate to high atleast for bsc. The course curriculum is well structured and relevant for building strong Fundamentals and higher studies.

Nightlife at ssipmt is usually calm with most facilities closing by evening. There is also a stationary shop there. Hostel timings are strict , gate closing around 7 PM. The college timing is from 9 AM to 4 PM. Canteen is open during only college hours. Library closes in ebening around 5 PM. Hangout spots inside are library, garden , temple , canteen etc. The locality is safe and students living in hostel usually hangout in evening.
