Being the 1st and still being the no.1 college in Kerala it's a best platform that offers many unique experience to enrich our technical and practical knowledge. It extends over an area of 125 acres. It helps to enhance the curricular and extracurricular activities of the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
This college is under Kerala Technical University (KTU). There is 8 semesters completed in 4 years. The college conducts 2 internal exams and there is a end semester exam conducted by University. The end semester exam is of 100 marks and 50 marks from internal assessment.
Placement Experience
Our college offers placement to all students who has cleared all the papers(everyone without a backpaper). Our college in association with Bosch-Rexroth offers an internship on Industrial Automation in addition to the interships conducted by the various departments
College Events
There are 2 major events conducted in our college, the Tech fest named Drishti and Art fest named Dhwani. In addition to this Disha(the interdepartmental competition for 1st years), Sargam(the competition between various years) are conducted. In addition to these a lot of workshops, classes, projects are conducted by different clubs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The free structure is feasible. At the time of admission a total of 25000 is to be paid at the college. After that in all other semesters a fees of about 5000 is to be paid( increases as we move on to higher semesters).
Fees and Financial Aid
CETAA the alumni association of our college provide scholarship, grands etc. This is in addition to the scholarship and grands given by the state and central government. Since the fees is less compared to private colleges and IITs no loan facilities are available within our college to my knowledge.
Campus Life
The are 2 mini-fest conducted by college for enhancing the extracurricular activities of the students. There is a well equipped gym, an indoor court, a basketball court and a volleyball court. I addition to this there is a group suitable for playing football and cricket and a nets near it.
Alumni/Alumna
CETAA, the alumni association of our college is a grand network which have branches in many places round the globe. CETAA provides grands and scholarship to the students. Moreover it continues to contribute for the infrastructure development of college.
Admission
After 12th I wrote the KEAM(Entrance Exam) and I was included in the ranklist. After the ranklist was published I was supposed to opt the college and course I prefer available in my rank and you will get admission in the college you opted in accordance to the availability of seats.
Faculty
Our college has a group of excellent faculty who well qualified in terms of educational qualification and experience. Most of the faculties have done researches in the respective field and have a doctorate. All the teaching faculties have a minimum qualification of M.Tech
