Remarks
College offers average infrastructure facilities and is comparatively strict. Restriction in freedom and less campus area are major negatives. Good faculty are present and teaching quality is not bad. College is distant from major town.
Course Curriculum Overview
Kerala Technical University offers comparatively difficult course curriculum.Each semesters are very short when compared to the heavy syllabus present.Exam schedule is very tight most of the time.Results are published within short span.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities offered is not bad. Major recruiting is for Computer Science sice IT companies are the common recruiters.Less placements for Mechanical and Civil. TCS is the major company visiting.
College Events
College have both cultural and tech fests.An intra college cultural fest named Arangu is present each year. It last for two days.Inter college cultural fest is Bharatham and Inter college tech fest is Nautilus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very expensive compared to other colleges. Management and NRI quota have very high fee structure. Other than tuition fee, many other fee are included.Fee is paid mainly annually or two sections in each semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
College offers scholarship and loan mainly for students obtaining very high marks in exams conducted by college and university exams. Also reduction in fee is given for students coming from very low income background.
Campus Life
Very good lab facilities are present. Most lab staffs are supportive. Well maintained ground is present for cricket and football. Basketball and volleyball courts are also present. Sportsday and athletics given less priority.
Alumni/Alumna
Very good alumni network present. Senior students includes proffesionals working in good companies. Other than engineers many of them have shown excellence as film actors, film directors, professional musicians, etc.
Admission
Cleared KEAM entrance exam by securing marks above minimum cut off in 2016.Joined college through management quota, since FISAT is a private self financing college. College comes under Kerala Technical University.
Faculty
Very good and highly qualified faculties are present. Most faculties have Phd. Faculties are ready and available for clearing doubts.Both highly experienced faculties and very young faculties are present.
