CEMK JOURNEY

The positive remarks is College location, library, hostel, infrastructure, faculty , resonance, spandan and the four year life in the lap of nature. The negative remarks is when i was a student there was no internet facility in the room. Currently that one also solved.

The college is under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of technology (formally known as WBUT). Course curriculum are divided into eight semester in four year. Odd semester are in the month of Jun-Jul and even semester are in Dec-Jan. 1st year there is basic common syllabus for all departments , from the 2nd year onwards there is purely departmental subject.

Every year there is a college campus drive and pool campud from Top IT company like TCS, CTS, Wipro, Infosys etc. Also core company like L&T, Jonson and Jonson recruit from CEMK. College arranged for one industrial training every year after 6th Semester. Also there is tie with World Bank and TAQIP ,which provides you one industrial tour. College arranged verious conference and seminar in each semester break. Also provide mok interview session and exam preparation session for Job drive.There is no stipend but there is scholarship facility for poor meritorious students.

The two much waited events in CEMK are Resonance (Tech Fest) and Spandan (Cultural Fest). Each year 3rd year student organize both the event with the help of other students. There is a fest ground in college for SPANDAN

Fee Structure are feasible and lowest among other colleges. There is a very good hostel facility with very minimal cost. Hostel room rent is rs. 500/- monthly in 4 sharing room. Approx four year college fees is Rs.350000/- excluding hostel and mess. All total it should be completed within Rs. 550000/- (if you stay in hostel).

There is verious good scholarship program running. You can get WB GOVT scholarship along with college also provide half tution fee waiver program for poor and maritious students every year. You can also availed education loan from top nationalized banks

CEMK is famous for its beauty and nature. There are 2 big play ground in cemk. Every year college organize annual sports, inter college cricket championship, inter college football championship tournament. If we come to labs, there are all modern facilities labs with good equipment are available.

There are total 7 hostel for all students. 4 are boys and 3 girls. For each year there is one boys hostel. Mess are attached with each boys hostel and for girls one common mess. The mess is maintained by the students only. From 1st to 3rd year there is four sharing boys hostel and for 4th year there is single sharing room. For girls 1st to 3rd three sharing room and for 4th year single sharing room are available. Hostel room rent is very minimal.

The alumni network are invited every year at the time of cultural festival, to connect with new students with old to meet the goal. Also there is blog where you can connect with your college alumni. They are very helpful. We all are known as one family CEMK FAMILY. WE ARE CEMKEINS

I had got the admission in this college by clearing WBJEE test. Got ranked and then attented the counceling process. At my time the counceling was in offline, now it is in online. We have attended the counceling in Salt lake Kolkata and selected the Computer Science and engineering stream and joined the college.

There is lot of Good faculty , we tought us well. There is vesiting faculty from IIT KGP, JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY also. Teacher arranged remadial class also at afternoon session. If you have any problems or doute you can clear your doutes in this session.
