The college is good and definitely a look to place for the students willing to take some higher studies in both Honors and General stream. It's a very good institution to get the proper education and further build a good future.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course i.e Mathematics Honors is for the persons who want to pursue higher studies in the subject of Mathematics. It is a 3year degree course divided in 6 semesters and each semester conatins a number of papers. Results are published thereafter.
Placement Experience
Though the college doesn't offer any direct placement after the completion of graduation but one can apply for several government jobs including the likes of IAS and IPS exams. The college also has a NCC department which is very helpful for some students.
College Events
A lot of events are held including the annual sports, freshers welcome party and social celebration where some famous singers and bands are invited and they perform on stage. There are also lot of social events held like tree planting event and blood donation camp etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure here is quite low and affordable for every student, even the much poor ones which makes the college for desired amongst students from different location across the state of West Bengal.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no such scholarship or loan facility provided by the college itself. You can apply for the available Govenrment scholarships at the state and national level. The college will provide every support for the students to avail any scholarship that he desires to appy for.
Campus Life
For every subject that requires a laboratory, it is there and the college has every equipments that are needed in any laboratory. Library is available and quality books are available there. Sports is a personal choice and not compulsory and also there is not proper big playground for sports in the college campus.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are very much helpful. They guide the students in every possible way that they are capable of. Whenever some junior student is in any kind of trouble he cam look forward to seeking help from any senior student and they will gladly help them.
Admission
I went through an online process where I had to register in the website and put my personal and 10+2 academic details and then by the marks of the 12th they calculated and published a merit list through which I was confirmed and then after an online payment of admission fees I got the admission done followed by a verification of my all documents.
Faculty
Faculty members are good and really helpful. They teach in a good and comprehensive way so that the students can learn properly. The teaching and non-teaching staffs are all very helpful. They take care of our every problem.
