College is located in crowded location but the river ganga flows just touching the boundary and hence provide beautiful ambience for some nice timeout. New hostels are very standard and can be very comfortable
Course Curriculum Overview
Course covers all main stream engineering streams and can be seen on college website for details. It follows the curriculum issued by AICTE and comes under MHRD. course is of 8 semesters and 8th semester is reserved solely for project.
Placement Experience
Placements are not much good in core branches. In CSE and IT it's handsome. No internship is provided by college. Students can however secure their own for summer and final semester. College allows it. My stipend was 25k per month during last semester.
College Events
Technocultural fest, perennial sports meet, time to time conclaves and training programs are conducted. Seminars are conducted in which many scholars from outside too come to participate. Sports and gym service is also good.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's absolutely free for poor and reserved category and upto 66% waiver for income group upto 5 lpa. So it's affordable. Fee is not a big issue as loan facility is easily available from a bank in campus itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship by central govt to poor Obc gets it from state govt Minorities get it from govt. College gives to meritorious students. Loan facility is easily given by allahabad bank present in campus itself
Campus Life
Labs are very fast improving. Infrastructure is getting modernised and new equipments are being installed but there is dearth of good operator and lab assistant. So mostly students have to face a lot of problems
Alumni/Alumna
Not very good network. There is annual meet up but that's not very fruitful and college needs to have better network. They are not in touch with students and hence can't help much. Senior students are fine and there is 0 ragging.
Admission
Through CSAB on the basis of JEE Mains score after class 12th. Based on rank college is allotted. It is one of the most prestigious central body exam conducted all over india. Questions are asked from Physics , Chemistry and Maths. Each 120 marks.
Faculty
Faculty is mostly average and needs a lot of improvement. The new entrants specially are not up to level of national institute standards. But some faculties in each branch are well experienced and can guide you through out.
