Remarks
Talking about the positive points, the faculty is very good in the college. Academically, the college is one of the best in Bangalore. The placement is extraordinary. The negative points may be that the infrastructure is not good at all.
Course Curriculum Overview
Instrumentation Technology is related to electronics and one can go on to learn electronic circuits, signals and systems, network analysis, analog and digital systems along with microcontrollers and microprocessors. Two semesters in one year with 4-5 theory subjects and 2 practical exams.
Placement Experience
Placements of the college is almost 90%. Except branches like civil engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement record for the past few years have been extraordinary. No, college does not provide internship.
College Events
Manthan is an event celebrated each year where students from different colleges take part in technical as well as extra curricular fests such as dance, singing, fashion shows along with celebrities come together.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Quite expensive - almost 2 lakhs per annum on education for non Karnataka students. Feasible - almost 30-40k for Karnataka students. Along with that some extra charges for miscellaneous activities with the fees of hostel excluded.
Fees and Financial Aid
I do not think that the college provide any loan of any kind. Regarding scholarship, students topping in university exams do get some percentage of scolarship on education fees. Other than that no exemption for the student.
Campus Life
Due to a small infrastructure of the college, sports such as cricket, football, basketball are not provide within the college campus but a ground near the college is where everyone sportsman meets. In case of indoor games, chess, carrom, checkers tournament is conducted in the college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is quite small hence was not provided due to shortage of availability. The charges for hostel is nearly 60k per annum with both veg and non veg food available. Rooms with 2 sharing and 3 sharing are available.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the college has a vast alumni. Annually, get togethers do happen for the alumni members. Senior students are helpful who provide a good knowledge of the placements going on in the college. And they keep up to date in case of other college functions.
Admission
Firstly, one needs to give an entrance exam through COMED-K. Based on your rank, you need to attend the counseling process of COMED-K. During the counseling process, one can choose the branch in which he/she may be interested from one of the colleges of the university available.
Faculty
Faculty of the college overall is good. Some highly professional teachers along with few mediocre teachers are at the college. Some very helpful, few don't care. Some very knowledgeable, few just limited to within the books.
