Being one of the oldest Engineering colleges in the country it is a privilege to be a student of this prestigious institution. With a legacy of over 80 years and counting it has been producing talents with likes of E Sreedharan consistently.
Course Curriculum Overview
The btech course offered is the best in the state. The curriculum is being constantly being revised to incorporate the varying aspects of technical and entrepreneurial developments happening. The eight semester course have two internal exams, practical exams and cumulative final sem exam in each semester.
Placement Experience
The college has its own placement cell which offers internship and placement opportunities for final year and pre final year students. The college boasts of a 100 percent placement ratio for all eligible students with offers coming from big companies like amazon, Adobe, Royal Enfield, Bosch, seimens etc.
College Events
All cultural and festivals are celebrated in the college like holi onam and Christmas. Add to that the academic calender is filled with various arts and cultural programmes spread across it. The main arts Festival Dhwani which falls in March has the legacy of being one of the largest in South India.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since being a Govt college the fee structure is extremely cheap and affordable. The yearly fee structure falls under 10000 rupees. Also special fee exemptions are provided to economical weaker students

The college offers a number of scholarships for students. Academical excelling students are offered cetaa scholarships. While students with financial difficulties are allowed various other scholarship opportunities.
Campus Life
The workshops and labs are one of the oldest and best in the business. The sports facilities include cricket football, basketball, volleyball, softball, badminton, table tennis, martial arts etc. The college has a world class indoor stadium suited for indoor games like volleyball basketball badminton etc. Also another flood lit outdoor synthetic surface is under construction
Hostel Facilities
The college has its own separate hostel for both boys and girls. The girls hostel being new boasts of all latest technologies while boys hostel thought older has all required amenities and infrastructure.

The institution boasts of a vast and extensive network of aluminies spread across the globe. These offers extensive help in nurturing and developing the upcoming students. They conducts interactive sessions with students regularly, giving them training in different aspects to succeed in life. They also offer scholarships for academically excellent students.
Admission
There is an entrance exam conducted by govt agencies in mid April. A high rank can ensure one's admission in college of Engineering Trivandrum. There are two papers one science paper and other mathematics each carrying 120 objective type questions.
Faculty
The institution offers one of the best faculties in the state. With a mix of vibrant and agile young faculties and experienced old horses. They are most welcoming and friendly in nature. With their knowledge and experience they provide for the best environment for the nurturing students.
