Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is average, no innovation , no uniqueness just the boring syllabus made by punjab technical univeristy is followed. But college department oganises tech talks, expert talks and workshops regularly therefore we get to learn many new things.
Placement Experience
Yes, college arrange meeting with good companies for placement but internship oppurtunities are nill. Companies visit campuses in the final year for placements for various positions and almost 200-250 companies visit the campus. But according to the stregth of college no. of jobs offered is less but overall the oppurtunity pool is huge.
College Events
Privartan - Annual Fest : this is the cultural and technical fest organised every year by the diff clubs present in the college but they charge every student 600rs, for the fest which is not good. Apart from this fest , many small events are also organised at department level by the department clubs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its not that expensive when compared to another private engineering colleges. 43000 per semester and 72000 for hostel per year. And paper fees if 700 which is charged by the punjab technical univery to which our college is affiliated to.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship is provided by the college, but you can take benefit of the scholar ship provided under the govt schemes for the merit students. Loan option is avaialble and i think college plays no role in loan facility.
Campus Life
Labs are below average with pentium processor and 2 gb ddr2 ram. Lab instructor are also like students who know nothing about the experiments. Sport oppurtunities are there and also there are many clubs which organises cultural events regularly.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is good and seniors are really helpful. DWS arranges alumni meet every year to expose students to the industrial life and challeges they face.They tell their jourrney about how they achieved this job or position.
Admission
We can get direct admission in this colleges by contacting the officials in registrar office or by filling the ptu counselling form which will be available on the ptu.accounts.ac.in. After you couselling is done which is online you will be called at the campus with the required documents.
Faculty
Faculty is just average not very good but some teachers are there who are like iit professors who has passion and interest in teaching but all other teachers are just for timepass. But the faculty is very supportive.
