Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is quite lengthy as it's 6 day of week of 7 hours of college i.e 10:45Am-5:45PM.Exams structure includes of Finals each semester with mid term and submission and project and viva which brings upto 150 marks total of each subject and total 5 subject per semester and total of 8 send i.e 4 years.
Placement Experience
placement of LDCE is remarkable as it provides jobs to maximum number of student out any college of Gujarat.Nit only that but T&P cell fo LDCE helps us get internship in reputed company also but as I am in 3 semester my internship hasn't started and so I cannot give clear idea about that.
College Events
Throughout the year there are more than 10 big event celebrated in LDCE which includes event like tech fest,tarang,tangat,Patang utsav etc.It provides both technically and non technically workshop which helps us building out social as well as subject knowledge
Fee Structure And Facilities
As Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of engineering is a government college the fees are very very feasible.It is around 2300 rupes in total that is roughly no more than 35 dollars which is quite cheap for the education they provides.
Fees and Financial Aid
I opted for scholarship offered by Gujarat government known as MYSY which helps us for extra expenses like living and food bill and other stuff,it is not that big as it is 17000 per year is is around 250 dollars per year but still it helps.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are chief focus in our college as activities like sports are very incouraged.Cricket, volleyball, kabbadi and tennis team of LDCE are very good.Not only that but labs are conducted very often and in good manner.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni Network is very important as this is government college so alumni is what gets us through with this much event,senior are much nicer than any other that I know of as they come form very humble background,most of them at least.
Admission
Okay so basically admission process was quite easy as it was based on merit list compressed of 60-40 ratio of boards and gujcet.I scored around top 1500 out of 65000 students,which was enough for getting admission in LDCE.
Faculty
Faculty of LDCE is very good at teaching,all of them but still I would categorized into 3 groups :- The one type who do not care about students at all, Second the ones who are harsh but still never intended bad for student,and Thrid who are excellent teacher as well as they care for learning of students.So in my college type 3 are least and type 2 are most.
