Remarks

The college infrastructure is great. We have library, labs and all other needed features.The infrastructure and faculties are best comparing other college. But a negative remark is that the college doesnt have a good sports ground.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. The exam is conducted by the university of kerala for the admissions till 2014. Now its undercontrol of kerala technical university.semester exam is conducted once in 6 months.

Placement Experience

Yes there are placements and job opportunities. There is also a working and efficient placement cell for the college. There are job opportunities from different types of well known companies. They provide placement training also.

College Events

There are so many events are celebrated in the college. Technical events and cultural festivies are celebrated. The technical festival is named as ithiha, also we celebrate onam, christmas etc. Pro shows are also a part of ithiha

Fee Structure And Facilities

They provide both merit and management quota admissions. The merit fees is as governed by the government.In management seats the fees in little expensive but as far the facilities are considered the fees is ok.

The college provides all kind of documents you need to take loan from banks. There is also different scholarships available provided by the government. Post matrix scholarship and other different scholor ships are available.

Campus Life

They have all kinds of labs need for the study and they all are good working and have experienced staffs. They conduct sports day events and also have different sports events held by different branches. Have a good library also.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they have alumni network. Alumini meets are conducted yearly and they are helpfull. In that meeting we can be in touch with our senior students. And be in a good network.That is good part of the alumini.

Admission

By kerala entrance exam. Got admission by the admission process which is carried by the government of kerala, the admissions is based on the rank scored on the kerala entrance exam, fees is also as fixed by the government.

They have a set of experienced and well talented faculties. The are very helping and always tries to bring out the best in students.they are very calm and good hearted and always behaves in a friendly manner to the students

College and faculties promote and provide chances for Industrial visit in industries all over India. The faculties of our college are well experienced and with better qualifications. Prof Rajesh Menon of the mechanical department is a gold medalist from IIT MADRAS.

I choose this college because this was the best college I was getting from my rank obtained in KEAM. I cleared the cutoff for this college in second round.Admission here are given on the basis of their rank of obtained in either KEAM(Kerala engineering architecture medical entrance test) or NATA.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

My review about RIET

I gave three options during my optional registration process. First is my current college and other is vkct and govt college attingal. But the first allotment I got admission at my current college so I took here as because of good reviews and food facilities. I enquired about the other colleges in my locality and my neighbouring places I got very good reviews. I think this college has more development and provides more intership programs IVs and more companies for placements comparing with other colleges. Our college supports startups and gave financial support for startups if needed But this is not in other colleges This is why I chose this college for my BTech degree.
