Remarks

The college is good for the people like ST/SC because almost 75 percentage of the students belongs to ST/SC and they are having their own unity. It doesn't mean that college in having personal section.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The college is good for science stream student because the teachera are more expertise in science stream , if we talk about exam pattern than university will give you centre for examination which will be in your city/town.

Placement Experience

2

No,guru govind college does jot provide any placements. The job opportunities are also not good most of the people who are graduated from college are trying to get a government job because they are not getting suitable jobs in the private sector

College Events

4.5

In the guru govind college the events are not so popular. They conduct few events like related to sports like cricket, kabbadi, football, handball, basketball, etc. The college NCC team and management is also good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is decided by the university. The fee is different for different courses like if we talk about B.COM fees than for first year it takes 1700(tution fee), for second year it is less. It is 1100.

Fees and Financial Aid

As we talk about scholarship than scholarships are also provided by the State government or central government. Basically the university provides scholarships to the lower people of the society such as schedule caste people or tribal people.

Campus Life

2.5

The college campus is having a lab but it is not so well maintained. Tje glass tubes and jars are also got dirty. The college conduct many activities in field of sports. College also conduct compitition like dance compitition, singing compitition , etc

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostel facility is provided by the government as it is a government college. The infrastructure is poor , not well maintained. Poor management of the hostel. The surrounding is not also clean and hygienic.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior are good if we talk about help, they are always ready to help juniors. The unity of seniors is also best. Political groups like ABVP,NSUI ,BTP, etc are ryn by the senior students or alumni.

Admission

First you have to fill online application form to where you need to fill the details of 10 th class and 12 th class than the university will decide the cut off marks for the admission.after few days college will introduce merit list.

Faculty

4

As i already stated above that faculty is not good in the management cources like bba ,b.com,MBA. If you want to do b.sc,m.sc, b.ad than you can choose the guru govind college , faculty is selected by state government so no doubt they are good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
