Positive: Awesome campus which has a zero tolerance towards ragging. Great faculty. Approachable management. Library facilities. High placement ratio. Negative: Lack of co curricular trainings or courses related to technology. Food quality in canteen.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam structure seems fine as we always got gap of two days between consecutive papers. However, there could be some minor changes that can be brought into the course curriculum. Introducing job oriented skills like Python, Oracle etc. could help the students be abreast with the industry.
Placement Experience
The average placement percentage is around 85%. All the market leaders like IBM, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, etc. conduct campus placement drives here. The college doesn't provide any internship.
College Events
The events that are majorly celebrated are the annual Tech Fest and the annual Cultural Fest. In both of these events, student participation in various competitions are encouraged. Also, students from other colleges can participate in the competitions and take shots at winning a handsome prize money along with other R&Rs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
RCC Institute of Information and Technology is a government sponsored private institution. Hence, the normal fee structure is on the higher side as compared to government institutions. However, a total 30% of students can avail scholarships where the tuition fee is waived fully for 15% of them and half tuition fee is waived for the rest 15%.

Campus Life
The labs are state-of-art where we got to learn a lot. Annual sports meet is conducted apart from annual cricket tournament and annual football tournament. Apart from these the students are encouraged to follow several extra curricular activities such as music, dance and photography.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is pretty diverse and strong. Apart from getting help from ex students related to exams, there are seminars conducted by the alumni association for students before campus placement drives to guide them in the right direction
Admission
After securing a rank in WBJEE, I went for the first round counselling conducted by WBJEEB. Once I chose to pursue Btech in ECE from RCCIIT, I was handed over the seat confirmation letter. Post this, I went to the college and submitted the seat confirmation letter along with my ID and Educational qualification proofs. Then I submitted the fees for the first semester and got enrolled.
Faculty
Awesome and extremely helpful. Always found the faculty to be approachable and eager to clear doubts even after college hours. Tried to drive in the point to gain knowledge. Even had a few positive experiences about faculty from other departments.
