Remarks

You can follow your passion if you are taking engineering for just completing the degree, as there are no classes held in the college for electrical department due lack of faculty members. As far as the negative side of the college is considered, there are a whole lot of thing that can be said, as there is no campus in the college, the environment of the college is completely violent and polluted by the students coming exclusively from the "Marathwada" region of Maharashtra.

Course Curriculum Overview

1

The Course Curriculum is almost copied from iits and reputed colleges of INDIA which will be helpfull for giving any exam in technical background but they never tech the syllabus in college. The exam is organised by the college itself as it is "Autonomous". There are two unit tests of 15 marks each and a final paper of 60 marks, 10 marks are internal assessment to be given by the teacher. Total passing is 40 marks whis is to be secured from the sum total of allthe above exams but 20 marks out of 60 in the finals are compulsory.

Placement Experience

0.5

There are no placement and job opportunity in our school at all. The TPO of over college is completely useless and the most corrupt person in our college, as he makes no initiative to bring any jobs or companies to the college. The college does not provide any type of internship to the students and the students have to struggle a lot to get internships in industries and government organisations.

College Events

1.5

Two major events are held in our college: 1. Technical Event - TechnoArena 2. Cultural Event - Abhivayakti and Jallosh The events are most pessimistic as the fund allotted by the government is not utilised to full extent because of corruption and both the events are of very poor quality and standard.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is designed on the basis of cast system: Open category - 60000 OBC category - 30000 And SC, ST - 1900 There is a huge difference between the distribution of fees and even the fees keeps increasing every year. It looks cheaper as compared to other colleges but not worth as far as the standard of college is considered.

Fees and Financial Aid

As our college is government funded and run by government organisation so loans can be easily acqured from banks on the name of government. The scholarship is also given by the government only on the basis of annual income of the family. I use to take "freeship" or OBC concession under which I had to pay only the 50% of total fees.

Campus Life

1

Extracurricular activities are descent as far as the sports section is considered as the students themselves do all the arrangements and organise various events in sports. Labs in the college are in worst condition, as they lack many equipments and if there are any they are not working. Even the technical events are also of very poor grade, which lacks entries of students from different colleges and maximum participation is from over college itself.

Hostel Facilities

1

Firstly the Hostels in the college are very few, the capacity is not even to occupy half of the strength of the college, moreover to that the facilities offered by the hostel are worst and very cheap as far as the government investment is considered. Maximum money allotted by the government for hostel facility improvement is eaten up by the corrupt officers and the hostel warden and finally the students have to live in comprise. Many of the students get frequently ill due to poor hygiene and maintenance of the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Actually there is no alumni network of the college, as the students really lack the technical skill base which is required by the industrial people's. I am also a victim to this and I am finally improving my technical background after degree by joining a private instruction for GATE preparation.

Admission

Admission to the college is done on the basis of JEE score, a combined admission process is run through out INDIA by DTE which helps students get admission to any college available in the list of DTE across INDIA according to the JEE score. And our college is available in the DTE list. There is no other way to get admission in our college except the one mentioned above.

Faculty

0.5

Faculty in my college are "MPSE" passouts and are good in knowledge but they lack teaching skills completely and the faculty members who are the senior most will never take lectures and will always missuse there seniority and position in the college. Overall the faculty of our college is very poor and is insufficient to fullfill the demands of students.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
