Good Placements with fantastic faculty

Only negative review I'll give is that they will not prepare you for the interviews. Rather they'll focus more on how to crack the first round. Whereas the main Funda of cracking a good company's Interview lies in the technical round. Which you can only learn via experience of rejection. Also most of the interviews scheduled will be off campus so chances of getting a job reduces drastically.

It was pretty well structured and organized. Little fast paced though. There will be eight semesters with 2 internal theory examinations and 1 practical lab Examination. On the last semester there will be one grand viva exam.

Yes the overall placements are way better than its competitors like MCKVIE College of Engineering. In our year the placements were eighty eight percent. Big companies like Oracle, SAP Labs will come of your lucky.

Every year there are 1 sport event and one technical and 1 grand event which is sponsored by the college. The sport event consist of Football, cricket and basketball and it is a intra college tournament. The technical event called TechFiesta is organised both for intra college and Inter college. Events like manual robotics, hackathon, video game meet, code challenge and treasure hunt are few of the main attractions. For the grand event it is divided into two days. First day the college bands and students will be performing and entertaining everyone, whereas, on the second day big artists like Sonu Nigam, KK, Benny Dayal will rock the stage. Also there is a cultural event sponsored for all the freshers every year upon their arrival.

The fee structure is a bit pricy and complicated. I'll say the charge is a on the higher side as compared to its competitors. For poor candidates they have a very good scholarship option. The fees of each semester has to be paid before each semester and only after full payment they'll allow you to sit for the Exam. Also before each exam a sum of one thousand has to be deposited for examination fees. Also similarly for Arcadia everyone has to pay one thousand rupees per year even though of they are not willing to attend it.

I have no idea on this. Scholarship is offered by the College to all the poor students who has total family income less than two lacs. About loan I don't have any idea. Because I used to pay for my semester in cash.

We'll have Every year there are 1 sport event which is sponsored by the college. The sport event consist of Football, cricket and basketball. The college also has basketball and football training programs of one wishes to learn or get training on these. The college is also equipped with a gym which very good.

They are quite helpful. We used to purchase old books and WBUT Organizers from them only. They generally don't rag you unless you provoke them or show attitude to them. The college campus and railway station is equipped with camera and college security guards to prevent ragging.

I got admission based on the score of my West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. It was a smooth admission process post counciling. I got here on the second one. I have chosen CSE as my carrier path.

They were pretty cooperative and knowledgeable. We often went to our professors to clear our doubts. The attendance is class is strictly monitored and they can refuse your appearance in examination if the attendance is less than 75 percent.
