Disciplined College with great career scope

Positive: disciplined, great placement opportunities in core and IT companies, large open campus, playgrounds, student friendly faculties. Negative: exam pressure, 75% attendance mandetory, lots of internal and home assignment.

AOT is AICTE approved engineering college which is under MAKAUT University. Courses provided are as follows B.Tech in ECE, CSE, IT, ME, EE, EIE and MCA, M.Tech in IT As per MAKAUT the 4 year B.Tech course comprises of 8 sem. 2 semester for each year. Also for each semester there are two internals with home assignment. Also there is a lab internal exam for each sem.

Training and placement cell is the best part of AOT. Even after two years of passing the college I recieve regular mails from aot about different job opportunities.From first year itself college start grooming ourself to make ourself job ready. Aptitude classes realy helped me to clear the written test of campus drives.

ARCADIA the cultural fest is famous in WB. Great artists like Sonu nigam,Mikha Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, Amit Trivedi , Sukhbindar Singh, KK have rocked the stage of ARCADIA. There is also a tech fest named Techfiesta happens each year.

Fee structure is under the rule of MAKAUT. All the colleges under MAKAUT has the same fee structure. Although we need to pay extra 15000 at the time of admission for skill development activity which os worth paying.

Scholarship is provided to needy student under Tution fee weaver catagory. I don't know much of it as scholarship was not applicable for me. You may go check our college official website for further details.

AOT has football ground cricket ground, basketball ground, volleyball ground and badminton ground. there are lots of options to choose. Although you are allowed to play only after college is over.For each sports their is a seperate coach or trainer. Also AOT is champion in different categories of sport tournaments.

Currently I am a part of AOT alumni. We are invited to join each Year's cultural fest. this is a only event where we, the pass out students can meet each other after the college days to share great memories.

By giving WBJEE entrance exam conduced by West Bengal Govt I got admitted to this college to study B.Tech in ECE. There is a choice filling portal, based on one's preference he/she can number colleges.The student will get the college based on his/her rank.

All the faculty's minimum qualification is MTECH from recognised college with min 5 years of teaching experience. ECE dept. faculties are really helpful with great technical knowledge and skills. Labs are also great to get hands on experiences.
