The college is situated in such an isolated location (Gunupur) that the students have no other option other than studying. The atmosphere is good and the teaching is good with the more focused approach on the practicals. However, a good medical facility is not available (to see a good doctor in any case, one has to take a 3-hour bus ride to Rayagada) also around 60 students have suffered from jaundice the previous semester.

The course and curriculum are cleverly designed as per today's needs. We have 6 theory subjects and 3 labs each semester (upto 6th semester) We have to undergo a couple of mid-semester (50 marks) exams every semester and a weekly 20 marks class test.

It has a fairly well placement record and nearly 90% of the students get placed. However, the college does not provide any internship but organizes programming courses for the CSE students during summer break.

Only one big event is celebrated in our college worth mentioning which is the science and technology expo which is organized in February every year. However many state-level functions are also organized here but the outside student involvement is very less due to the remote location of the college.

The fee structure is very feasible compared to other colleges. The tuition fee for our batch is 1.2L and 64k hostel fees. However, the college fee of the 2019 batch is kept 2.2 lacks for CSE and a bit less for other branches.

The college accepts applicants according to their OJEE marks and the top rankers get admission through the 5% TFW quota and have to pay only 23k as tuition fees. While all the other students can externally take study loans on the basis of the bonafide provided by the college.

Every department is having some the active clubs for keeping the students involved in co-curricular activities as the mechanical department has the SAE club, CSE has Data Science Club, the electrical has the robotics, etc. The college has big labs with a range of equipment. Cricket, football, volleyball, and badminton are the major sports option available which are good however we have the same ground for cricket and football.

The hostels are not very good infrastructure wise as they are a bit cramped and only one water filter is given for each hostel which sometimes runs out of water, but all the basic facilities are available. ' except a TV room.

No active alumni network is available in the college, the only way to reach the alumni members is through the Facebook page of the college but on that also no one actively participates. However, the senior students are very helpful and do not worry about ragging on the campus.

I got admission on the basis of my 12th mark which was reviewed by a college official who was visiting my city for the same purpose. Then I was called to college for my documents verification after which my admission was confirmed. Getting into this college was a very simple process.

Most of the faculty here is good except for some locals who find it difficult to speak English which makes it quite difficult to understand things sometimes otherwise the faculty of our college is very interactive and helpful.
