Remarks

Yes we have some negative and positive too. But let me talk about negative one Please don't too much depend on college management because they will definitely help but will take time. So go for vocational training and placement of you own.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is good. We had semester wise exam and between every semester we had mid semester exam and it is mandatory to attend the mid semester exam because if you're not appeared in mid semester then you will not be able give semesters.

Placement Experience

Placement is weak point for this college, they can't arrange proper companies, they provide job to the students but package is low. Our college have internship for management department. And also provides stipend according to government norms.

College Events

We use to celebrate, Pre New Year, Republic Day, Saraswati Puja, Holi, Teacher's Day Engineer's Day, Independence Day, Fresher's Welcome, Annual Sports. Annual Fest. Cultural Fest. Technical Fest. Exhibitions. Inter branch sport etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. Even middle class can afford If you have any problems ,our college management is always comes forward to short it out so that we could not face any difficulty. They also provides installment facility.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes our college have two scholarship scheme according to West Bengal Govt. Full Freeship In this you have to pay only library fee. Half Freeship In this you have to pay half of entire fee. Even you can take loan.

Alumni/Alumna

Most of alumni are well settled in world known companies like IBM, TCS, SAIL, Intel, State Government, Central Government, etc Few are in third party company like Harmon, NTT DATA, Ust global, Hoffman etc.

Admission

After entrance I have gone counseling process and a seat had been allotted to me against my entrance exam rank. After that I have visited the college and did all admission procedure like registration, tution fee payment, cloth measurements etc. After all process done I got the admission.

Faculty

4.5

Every faculty were knowledge full and had proper degrees. They all have M.tech in their respective trade and even they have proper commands on practicals too. They are always helpful to us and always available.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
