The college infrastructure needed to be improved a bit

The course curriculum is good and the exam structure is relevant recently our faculty started a research related to heat transfer to improve the efficiency of the engine.This kind of research helps us a lot at the time of placements or which may even lead us to start a startup

This year a total of 63 students are allowed to sit in placement cell out of 79 students and 58 students are placed and 3 students got double job offers the max package is around 7.95 Lacs per annum and an average of 5.70 Lacs per annum. The placement percentage is around 92.06% and the top recruiting company is Vedanta group.

We have two big events celebrated in the college namely techniti and uttkansh in which we held competitions, debates, seminars and each branch has many events conducted by them in which colleges all over India come and participate in this event and at the end of the day we have DJ nights as closing for that day.

The fee structure for this branch is around 63000 per semester and per year its around 126000 and it has other fees around 30000 per semester and mess fee around 25000 and you will face other expenses of stationary to buy drawing kit ,books and lab coats which costs you around 5000 per semester

I have opted for ebc scholarship it's a scholarship given to students who are economically backward we can avail it throughnsp portal in online platform

The gender ratio has increased compared to last due increase in number of seats and adding supernumerary seats the ratio is around 1:5 .The extra curricular activities are pretty good but needed to be improved it has robo wars at the time of techniti events

As I am a part of druva club which is a part of nit Jalandhar family in which we have meet the college alumni and take their experiences to solve a problem

I got admission in this college through jossa counseling which conducted by the jossa board you can also enter this college by other counseling procedures such as csab which is held after jossa counseling, Jossa counseling is held in the month of June and ends in the month of may

The faculty are very friendly and they maintain a good rapoo with students. Chemical department is one of the department which is having a friendly faculty in the campus. They motivate us, and they share thir experiences how to deal a situation which we may feel difficult
