What Students Say
Likes
- I like Equality, Diversity
Dislikes
- Job market after studies is not great
Course Curriculum
- My course syllabus is well-structured to align with my career expectations. I have also partnered with an industry collaborator for a module coursework project, where I will work as a consultant researcher to provide research-based solutions to help them develop and grow their ROI.
- The classes are held from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM twice a week, alternating weeks for a duration of five weeks. The strength of the course depends on the students' interests.
Admission Experience
- Following a thorough review of the universities in the United Kingdom and an analysis of the modules offered during the course period, I was able to effectively narrow down my choices to this particular university.
Faculty
- All the professors I encountered during my coursework were very friendly, professional, and easily approachable at any time via email. They were always ready to support students to any extent if contacted. However, they can only be of help if you reach out to them.
Campus Life
- We have three campuses located around Bristol, UK. Various clubs and events are hosted and organized for every religion, culture, and country. Additionally, there are numerous extracurricular activities and facilities available to help students develop their skills. Some sessions, led by trainers on specific dates, are designed to encourage individuals interested in learning new skills.
- Event bookings are managed through a mobile application that is accessible to all university students. We also have a library that is open 24/7, where students are encouraged to work on their coursework, research, and more, with all the necessary software and resources available.
Part Time Jobs
- There are various part-time job opportunities in and around the university. But most of the NI registered job listings and openings will be posted on their official website or Indeed.
Placement
- Placement in full-time jobs and average salaries depend on various factors, such as field of expertise, previous experience, early career stage, communication skills, and more. The university hosts many guest lectures, events, and job fairs to encourage students to develop their networking skills during their course.
- This networking can be instrumental during the job hunt. Some students even find jobs before completing their courses, while others may struggle to secure a full-time position related to their field, leading some to return to their home countries without having found employment after graduation, and at the end of PSW too.
Accommodation
- Accommodation facility rental charges were comparatively very high compared to local availabilities, but worth the money, highly secured, easy access to university amenities, well-maintained lobby, 24/7 access to common communal areas and library, etc.
Exams
- Decent grade with previous studies or relevant work experience, a Medium of instruction letter or IELTS score with min of 6 points in all areas, previous study or work proof, and a reference letter from any of them.
- The process entails the following steps: submission of the online application, verification of documents as previously outlined, issuance of an unconditional offer from the university, payment of the deposit fee to secure the seat, distribution of the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) letter from the university, visa processing, and arrangements for flight bookings.
Fees
- The fee structure for my Master's program was £17,250, which varies by course.
