  • The college has two campuses in the UK only, the main one in Cranfield and the other one in Shrivenham.
  • We have 2 libraries, sports facilities like gyms, badminton, tennis, basketball, a football ground, medical attention center.
  • Cranfield has their student association, CSA, who conduct events every once in a while. There are multiple student associations you can attend, depending on what you like.

  • I lived off campus in a student-accommodated house. I found the house via my supervisor's contact and on websites like uHomes.
  • The monthly rent was 405 GBP without bills, which would average around 120 GBP per month (water, gas, electricity). All facilities were included, which a student requires that is.
  • I did not face any challenges while finding my accommodation, other than the fact that I didn't actually know if I could believe the pictures on the website.

  • Cranfield University has two campuses: the main Cranfield University campus in Bedfordshire and Shrivenham in Oxfordshire.
  • Cranfield offers a strong library, sports centre, gym, medical and wellbeing services. Campus life includes MBA socials, sports clubs, consulting and entrepreneurship societies, and student-led events throughout the year. You can start your own if it does not exist on campus
  • There are no events that happen here like the colleges in India

  • I stay at Stringfellow catered accommodation inside the campus (Which is highly recommended)
  • Rent is £1244.50 per month, including meals, utilities, and WiFi.
  • Availability is a main challenge, so early application is key.
  • It’s on campus, a short walk to classes.
  • Most Indian students stay on campus or nearby Cranfield village, which is a bus ride away.

  • It has 2, one of the main Cranfield ones, and there’s another campus in Shrivenham ( it’s a military base). There’s Coop and Londis for grocery needs, there’s Costa Coffee, and vending machines everywhere. The library is open 24/7.
  • There’s a sports centre that has a gym. There’s basketball, football, tennis, and cricket. The sports center has badminton, Muay Thai, table tennis, and other such sports. All the fun events are organised by the Cranfield Student Association (CSA). It conducts fun Friday nights and has a bar every day of the week.

  • I live in university accommodation, so I simply had to look up and find what I liked on the university website. The monthly rent is about 760 pounds, which includes all water and electricity bills, heating, and common area cleaning.
  • There were no challenges I faced while finding/securing my accommodation. It’s ideal to have an accommodation booked before you land here; that way, there’s no worrying. It’s a walkable distance, maybe a kilometre or even less than that. Indians are spread out in all halls of residence.

  • I opted for an off-campus accommodation
  • I found my accommodation through university Whatsapp group
  • My rent was £420 with internet part of the rent. The electricity, gas and water bills together were about £130 per month: Bringing the total to up to £550
  • Nothing much, as the landlord was transparent and supportive to all my requests
  • Weigh options in both on- and off-campus. On-campus accommodation is available through the university portal. While, off-campus can be found through apps/websites like Spare Room, Zoopla etc.

  • The university has lots of extracurricular activities, such as indoor/outdoor games, events, clubs, and parties every Friday evening. The whole vibe was quite amazing.

  • I checked the nearby accommodations, which cost around £500. With current dates, the price may range between £600 and £700.

  • Yes, it is good for research and postgraduation but slightly of higher standards compared to Indian universities so it is very hard to clear the exams

  • Lots of sports clubs (no swimming pool though), not many cultural clubs (check website)
  • Good gym facilities
  • Limited food options within campus, might have to rely on cooking or ordering from nearby city (if you’re rich)
  • Good Library and access to a lot of literature and scientific journals

  • Campus accommodation and also off-campus accommodation can be found on University portal. Once you get admission, they send you the details. Campus Accommodation would cost approximately 8400 GBP a year (depending on the accommodation you opt for). This would include a room with a bed table and a cupboard. They also provide cutlery. Some common-use equipment and spaces like the kitchen, ironing board, and sitting area. Toilets can be en-suite or common depending on the option you opt for. Off-campus accommodation is a bit cheaper. Weekly expenses would be roughly 50 GBP (if you cook) a week, which would include groceries and laundry. Will be much higher if you rely on ordered food.

  • Just one in Cranfield. There are multiple different buildings within this township
  • Library, Gym, Table Tennis, Football court, basketball court, swimming pool, prayer rooms, medical room,
  • Cultural events: Diwali, Halloween, prom, back-to-school parties, literary fests, black history month, Christmas, and bank holiday parties. We have a cultural team that organises these events for students and faculty both

  • Found my accommodation on the university website,
  • Monthly rent was about £800 pounds; it was the costliest of the 4 options. It was without mess services.
  • No challenges; it was super smooth.
  • I think it’s best to choose on-campus accommodation, as it becomes easier to collaborate on group assignments. My accommodation was on campus so it was a 10 mins walk from my lecture rooms
