- I had opted for student accommodation. It was just absolutely amazing. I felt like living in a five-star hotel for a year. My flatmates were all so friendly and awesome. I had applied for the accommodation on the university website itself, and I had chosen Band D (Ensuite) as my preferred accommodation.
- I got my room assigned at the Manor Park Campus, which was beautiful and the exact location I wanted to live in. All the facilities, like laundry, game room, sports complex, kitchen, and everything was included at the Manor Park accommodations. Just that it was a 15min walk from the main stag hill campus. But even that wasn't a problem since the local stagecoach buses used to go from Manor Park to Stag Hill and even beyond to the town centre. My living experience was just perfect and memorable.

- Student Union is present to handle all student queries, with dedicated departments for different concerns. The student union is appointed by the student with election held on campus.
Dislikes
- The College is located in the outskirts of London which makes the accommodation cost comparatively low.
- College ensuite accommodation is a little expensive with prices comparable to London accommodation.
- There is no in-house student grocery store that offers student discounts; there is on-campus Co-op store which has the same pricing as regular Co-op branches.
- I chose to live on campus because it provided convenience, security, and quick access to university resources. Compared to external searches on sites like Zoopla, Rightmove, Facebook groups, or student accommodation sites, I got my room through the University of Surrey's official housing page, which made the process simple. As could be expected for ensuite university housing, the monthly fee was somewhat expensive, but the price included amenities like Wi-Fi, kitchen, heating, electricity, maintenance assistance, laundry access, and close proximity to the library and other campus buildings.
- There are only a handful of desired room types, and that was one of the biggest obstacles because rooms fill up rapidly, and it was occasionally difficult to make a decision when comparing costs with off-campus options. I would advise future students to apply early, carefully compare all room types, and look into backup options from reputable student housing organisations as well as university housing. In my opinion, staying on campus as they are comparatively affordable than other options.
- The majority of Indian students typically prefer to stay either on campus or in adjacent locations like Manor Park, Ash Grove, or Guildford town centre, depending on availability and expense. My accommodation was within a short walk from the college (approximately 1 minute), which saved a lot of traveling time.

- It was on-campus accommodation. I found it on their website only and it was cheaper than private. The monthly rent was 450 pounds. We got a personal room and shared a bathroom and kitchen. I would say for my university.
- On-campus accommodation was cheaper than private but in London it’s the opposite. So I would say it is reliable as well, but in private you might face some fraud sometimes

As a finance student, I have strategically chosen to study in the UK particularly because London being one of the best global financial centres. In my quest for a Master’s in Finance, I opted for the University of Surrey because it is reputed to be among the best business schools in Britain, in proximity to London and has great facilities.The university has a balanced experience with quality education and many extracurricular activities intertwined. It also offers several scholarships which entice students from other countries hence making it an appealing place to pursue one’s education. Moreover, this institution celebrates all major festivals including those that are important to Indian students thus providing a warm environment for them.

- Ofc, love the campus. Very big and lovely campus within nature.

I chose it because of the great reputation of Surrey Business School. Location- near London! Practical modules like consulting and capstone. Overall experience is superb!

So, I did my Masters in Information Security. The course was pretty well formed and teaching is also thorough. We mostly had hybrid classes and most of them were online, even though we had full access to the labs. Assignments given are very thought provoking and practical, so its fun performing them. Regarding the campus, it has all kinds of facilities that a student may need like restaurants, grocery stores, cafes, laundry facilities, etc. There is a lake too near which students can relax and feel at ease. The campus mainly is safe, which I think should be a priority for international students as the security is always on rounds and accessible around the clock. The location of the university is also quite convenient as it is 10 minute walk from the town center, bus station and train station. Additionally, Guildford (where the university is) is maximum 1 hour away from London by train and airport
