Nottingham Trent University is especially popular for its emphasis on employability. NTU ranks 1st in the UK for employability, as per Uni Compare 2025. It mentions that ~95–97% of graduates are in work or further study within 15 months.

As per the ESA Graduate Outcomes Survey, the median starting salary is around £25,000–£32,000 (₹30.75 – ₹39.36 Lakhs). For students who choose a one-year placement earn more. The 2-year Graduate Route Visa lets students gain international experience and earn in GBP, which significantly boosts ROI.

However, students from Punjab or Haryana must pay full first-year fees before. This may increase financial pressure while starting at the university. Living and visa costs add ~₹18–22L per year, which can be quite expensive. The students also prefer the part-time jobs at the university to manage the living and lifestyle costs.

Overall, it is estimated that the students can recover the university fees in 3-5 years alongside a stable career. For a good ROI, students should aim for scholarships at the university, which can help cut some amount of the total tuition fee. Going for a one-year placement can also improve the overall median salary after graduation. Thus, choosing the right course to study makes the biggest difference.
