In this new curriculum they give more priority to the clinical skills over the theotical knowledge.the curriculum prepares u for clinical aspects and improve the clinical skills.in new curriculum u interact more with patients so the communication skills will improve.clinical orientation and integration of subjects will be given importance

The curriculum of MBBS course in UPUMS is well designed. Practical based studies being more important in MBBS is given more weightage and emphasis. So the practicals including dissection is well taught and are repeated several times for perfection. This gives a great experience for further academic pursuits. Number of cadevars available are less according to the strength of class which needs to be improved rest all are well maintained. The frequency and timing of exams are well designed. Regular tests are taken after small intervals to check the knowledge imparted after completion of every unit with makes the student have good knowledge of the subject.

Mbbs and nursing degree holder are eligible for placement but all the students got the job. In my field, I will definitely get a job as a lab technician in a government institute the students who get placement is around 60 percent.

10+2 from a recognized board is a necessary eligibility for admission to the course. There is an entrance exam for the course called NEET. Scores obtained in the entrance exam will decide admission to the course.

I chose MD for my post graduation degree so that I can get a specialisation. There is an entrance exam NEET-PG which is very difficult to crack. The scores obtained in the entrance exam decide admission.
