BITS Pilani Goa has one of the best placements all over the country. The average package offered here is 16 LPA whereas the highest domestic package is 45 LPA and the highest overseas package is 1.2 crores PA. Dream companies like Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia etc visit our college and the placement percentage of our college is 100%(around 900 students in a batch). No. Wrote BITSAT which is an entrance exam which is scored out of 450 and an average score of 290-300+ gets you admission to different programs. CS in Goa is usually at 350-358/450 and CS in Pilani above 385-390/450

Students become eligible for placements after 3rd year. The placements are pretty good with median packages lying around 11 LPA. The percentage of students placed is more than 95 %. I got a job on campus and plan to pursue that.

You become eligible for placements after clearing all your compulsory courses in the 4th year. The list of companies are a lot and can be accessed via the college website. Highest package in 2021 passing out batch was 50Lakhs. Profiles offered were in the tech, finance, non-tech and core-engineering. From the students who choose to sit for placements 90% of them get placed.

There are a lot of renowned companies and startups that visited the campus - BNY Mellon, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, ZS Associates, etc. The highest package offered is 50lakh and the average package offered is around 12lakh. Around 95% of students get placements. Many of the students opt for MS, Mtech, and MBA after getting the degree.

Placements are decent and the placement unit is quite hard work. Almost all the students end up with opportunities one or the other. The stats of the placements are not publically available but nonetheless, they are decent.

There are plenty of top companies like Amazon, Google, Ebay, Paypal, Tesco, Flipkart to name a few that come from across the country to hire BITSians based on merit. Highest salary was offered by Google @1 CR and close to 90% students got placed during our batch. There were few who didn't get placed based on low CGPA or not being able to crack interviews. I wanted to be involved in startups so i didn't sit for placements.
