All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The annual academic's total fees is 1,35,000 excluding hostel fees . This 1,35,00 includes the one time fees of 2500 and Caution fees of 5000 which is refundable . The registration fees for the counselling is given in through the official website of HBTU e-counselling which is 2500 . The tuition fees is 75,000 while the others like development fess , lab fees and other charges are clubed into Other changes catergory and is 52,500. This fees is non-increasing i.e it remains same for the fours years. The Tuition fees are exempted for the SC/ST category and only hostel charges are needed. Many scholarships are provided like UP Government's scholarship which is for people with income less than 2,00,000 (2 lakhs) and provides nearly 5 lakhs i.e equal to the total 4 years academic fees. Other scholarships are private like Reliance Scholarship but these type of scholarships requires passing their exam.

academic fees of one year is 1,35,000. hostel fees is 63,000. it has its own counselling process and its easy to understand. the fees is also very much affordable along with the hostel fees. students can apply for various scholarships and all the details are shared time to time and there is very much transparency. nearly 70,000 amount a student can get in a year from up scholarship. The environment is very healthy here and the course fees is constant over the years and there is no change.

And my final year will follow the same as above. There are two types of scholarship available for students: One is UP govt. Scholarship Other is fee waiver scheme offered by our college in which tuition fees is waived off.

my yearly fee is 127500 and i'm getting schlorship of 102000 in last year and i paid fee in two installment first instalment was 90000 and second 37500. my batchmates also paid same fee and they are from other catageory but the schlorship amount varies . but some students also get private schlorship from various sources like ONGC.
