15 Apr, 2026 AP EAPCET 2026 admit cards will be available from Apr 28. The exam is scheduled from May 12 to 18, for Engg. courses, and on May 19 & 20, 2026, for Agriculture & Pharmacy courses.

Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University Admission 2024 has started. ANGRAU Admissions are done based on merit as well as entrance. The university will be accepting entrance examinations like EAMCET, AGRICET & AGRIENGGCET for admissions to its various programs. Application forms can be downloaded from the official website of the university.

The university offers a wide range of 4 UG, 22 PG & 16 Ph.D. programs in the fields of Agriculture, Management, Engineering & Science. Selection to B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture, B.Tech is done based on EAMCET entrance examination.

AGRICET is the entrance test conducted for admission to the 2^nd year of the course B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture. Candidates who have done Diploma in Agriculture/ Seed Technology/ Organic Farming of two years from ANGRAU/PJTSAU can apply to this course. The fees of INR 500 have to be paid as the registration charge for the general category candidates and INR 250 in case of SC, ST & PH category candidates.

ANGRAU offers B.Tech and B.Sc. courses in various disciplines.Selection to B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture, B.Tech is done based on EAMCET entrance examination. Admission to B.Sc (Hons) in Community Science is done based on merit in the qualifying examination.

For admission to second year in B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, candidate need to qualify AGRICET for which they need to have passed Diploma in Agriculture. AGRIENGGCET

The candidates should have completed minimum of 18 years of age as on December 31^st of the admission year and maximum of 23 years.
In case of SC/ST category, he should be of a maximum of 26 years of age and 28 years in respect of PC candidates.
Qualifying marks – 25% of the maximum marks of the entrance test. However, there are no qualifying marks for the candidates of SC/ST category.
15% of the supernumerary seats are reserved for AGRIENGGCET.

The upper age limit of 22 years old is relaxed in certain situations. It is 25 years of age for SC/ST candidates, and 27 for those with physical disabilities.
For B.Tech in Food Technology, 50% of the seats will be filled with students from Bi.P.C. stream and the rest will be filled by M.P.C. stream.
40% of the seats are reserved under Farmer’s Quota.
20% of the supernumerary seats are reserved for AGRICET.
Candidates having Diploma in Home Science can also apply for B.Sc. in Community Science under 10% of the supernumerary seats.

ANGRAU offers several postgraduate courses in various disciplines. It also offers MBA in Agricultural Management. The university offers M.Sc. in Agriculture and Home Science leading to various disciplines. It offers M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering leading to three disciplines.

Minimum eligibility for M.Tech is candidate must have passed B.Tech in respective specializations. For M.Sc., candidate must pass in B.Sc. degree with relevant specializations of four year duration. For MBA, candidates must pass in Bachelor’s degree with relevant discipline.

According to my rank i choose this college . There is another agriculture college in Bapatla it's the top college.compare to that college our college was some what bad in academics and faculty . I applied for Bapatla mahanadi but on my rank and region I got selected into this college The admission process is like first you need to write the eapcet exam which is conducted for 160 marks every year so through that exam you can get into the college based on your rank.after that you should apply for counseling and they will conform the seat then you should submit the required documents and certificates they ask. That's the procedure for admission

My first preference is this only. Based on my rank which was 5000 I got seat in this one. As this is first preference and I got admission here there is no rejection. Admission process is very simple you need to get a proper EAMCET rank

Absolutely dissatisfying campus but the highly qualified faculty compensate for it but the college life disappoints me.

Admission:

So I wrote CUET exam and applied in different colleges through ICAR. I applied in the colleges which deals with agriculture horticulture pisciculture and community science. I was more inclined toward agriculture and all the branches of agriculture. I applied for many colleges but my top priority was Rani Lakshmi Bai Central agriculture University but I didn't able to get a seat in that colleges due to my low score in the entrance exam. Other than the college I am currently studying I also got a seat in Manipur but due to the political riots going on there at that time I rejected that college. After the ICAR counselling, once you pay the fees and you get your allotment letter you have to go to the college before the given time for physical counselling and there you have to submit all original documents and if you opt for hostel the hostel fees and the college registration fees and then you will be enrolled in the college. But if you are a Andhra Pradesh student then you can also apply in this college just through your intermediate marks which is generally above 70%. In case of ICAR exam for general category a rank of 10000 to 15000 can also get you a seat in this college.

i choosed this college because it has good infrastructure compared to other colleges offering same course, admission process of college is pretty simple, college shortlists few students for admission based on their eamcet score and few seats are sold for donation also, 60% seats are goverenment reserved seats and 40% seats are donation seats.
