The faculty was good and responsible, easy available of references and easy understanding, well professionalized lectures
The opportunity for scholarships and placements is also top-class at andhra university.
My experience in my college was pretty good.they have good faculty and facilities in the classroom and the classroom and washroom are kept clean .they provide labs for physics and chemistry,and also they celebrate annual fests and farewells and sports

Dislikes

The faculty here are very much experienced and well known about the subject but the prblm here is that they just teach us about the subject and go but no one will let you ask if you understand it or not.
Nothing much but there will be disparities between students and it is difficult to get seat in wished group
I dislike the college b?cause they is only some placement for the course

Beyond the brouchure

Likes

Encourage students in tech clubs and hackathons.
Solve doubts without hesitation and encourage students in sports
College surroundings are very peaceful and surrounds with mountains.

Dislikes

College is not not spacious and i don't like it
They have very small auditorium and even 2 classes cannot fit into it.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in our college that they offer companies like TCS, Capgemini,Infosys etc every student will be placed with minimum package.So many students will get offers from 2 or more companies.Out of 200 students 189 members are placed.My plans after degree is to do masters.

My college my experience

Likes

The canteen and classrooms were all good and student friendly
They conduct events and competitions every year which helps students to explore their interests
The teachers and workers are friendly with students helping them to express themselves completely

Dislikes

Some of the rooms are not ventilated and power will go often in the college
The waiting time for food in the canteen is too much for students
Some of the teachers are not experienced leading to difficulty in teaching

This college has a very good atmosphere and look very good environment for studying
Also encourages students with sports and cultural activities
Lecturers are very skilled and interactive with the students

Dislikes

As it is a university affiliated college it is hard to get our certificates
It takes so much time to get a study certificate or something from the office
No placements are provided in this college

The exams are not as difficult as the other courses and the 4 months time is very sufficient to prepare but sometimes exams will be conducted earlier so it's difficult to revise or prepare for the exams

Student Life at ANITS College : A Deep Dive

Likes

The faculty members are highly qualified, approachable ,and dedicated. They emplo interactive teaching methods, combining lectures, discussions and practical sessions.
ANITS has a strong placement cell that collaborates with top recruiters, providing ample opportunities for students to secure jobs.

Dislikes

While the curriculum is strong, some students feel it could include more flexibility, such as elective courses in emerging fields like AI, Data Science, or IoT.
Although academics are crucial, the college could encourage more emphasis on extracurricular activities and student-led initiatives to promote holistic development.
The college enforces strict rules and regulations, which may sometimes feel restrictive, especially regarding attendance and campus timings.

Insights into Life at ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE

Likes

They provide placements for final year students.
They provide placement training to get a good job in MNC Companies.
They provide excellent faculty for teaching subjects to students.

Dislikes

They don't provide playground for playing games.
The faculty members don't teach any subject completely.
They don't leave even after 5:00 in the evening.

The students get placement opportunities from the 5th semester. All third-year students are eligible for placements. There are companies like Infosys, Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, ADP, 24/7 AI, and Accenture that visit our college to provide employment opportunities. The highest and average package is about 6LPA and 3LPA. Every year more than 1000 people are placed in Top companies. I want to study MCA after graduation. So I'm preparing for the I-CET Exam to get admission to the top university in Andhra Pradesh.

ANITS: Honest review about being aNITian

Likes

Good timings when compared with rest of the colleges in vizag
The transport bus facility is really good with A.C buses
Ragging is very less in this college I would say almost zero ragging

Dislikes

Teaching is very bad only few of the professors are really good at computer science core subjects
Very bad infrastructure no proper internet facility
we have jammers every here and there no bunking no internet

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college are not so good, to be honest. AWS amazon was the highest package recruiter of this college till last year but this year it didn't visit the college for recruitment on campus. From 3-2, the students are eligible for placements as well as internships. We have to do compulsory summer internship in summer holidays at end of 3-2. The high package companies visiting this campus are Factset -10.8 LPA, Tejas networks -10 LPA (c,c++), Inncircles-10LPA offers 2 roles developer of 10 LPA and tester role of 6.5LPA, JMan 5.16 LPA, Akrivia developer role 10LPA, Infosys SP role 9.5 LPA these r the product companies or high paying companies. Many service based companies also come like accenture and infosys who hire in bulk. Infosys hired 231 members which is a whopping count. The highst package is 10.8 LPA by factset. Almost 50% students r placed. If u have plans to crack gate or higher education palns in foreign then the college has really good network with consultancies and faculty also will give u letter of appericiation and all easily. The faculty is supportive in all these matters.

One of my friends graduated from Andhra University. According to him, it is very reputed among students as well as professionals. But like every other institution, it also has its fair share of positives and negatives. Let me share them with you which you can analyze later on.

Pros:

It is one of the oldest universities in the country, hence has a great alumni network.
The student intake in each department is 30-60, which benefits the student-teacher interaction.
Each department has its own dedicated library consisting of several books, magazines, journals, and other study materials.
The campus is huge, covering 600 acres.
They have the biggest sports ground. Students are also provided with a gym and basketball court.
The entire campus is wifi enabled.

Cons:

The placements are average. The number of companies visiting the college has gradually decreased.
The lab equipment is not well maintained or upgraded.
Andhra University follows the age-old curriculum with little to no changes.
Students are told to put more emphasis on theoretical learning than practical.
Exams are mostly based on theories rather than practicals.

Overall, it is an above-average institution. It may not be like the IITs or NITs but still works well. It is suggested that you opt for this only if you have missed the opportunity to study in the IITs or NITs.
